Add that one to Lemmo’s Greatest GOTD’s. The perfect distillation of all the elements Michael brings to the table - his humanity and beautiful playing. While the US is being trashed by the current President our man Lemmo represents everything good about America.
Jen keep being yourself, you do nothing but add to the experience of Normans video adventures, you're always cheerful and positive, thank you, Jeff in LA USA
Daniel Brown I typically upload an updated version to my google drive every couple weeks and post the link in the comment section. We have been on the road since the end of July, so the last upload goes through July 13. I’ll update and upload when we get home later this week. prospectnyc only 65 Strats sound like that because pickups were wound with polysol wire which gives them a very mid heavy tone, punchy and hotter than other years.
Honestly the main reason why i kept on watching this channel is because of Lemmo. What an awesome guitarist!. I wish to see your jazzmaster get reviewed at normans channel. That would be great
A one man band using the ditto to emulate percussive affects laying down a solid rhythm track in which to improvise over changing textures and ambience with every new groove. A mainstream lesson in composition every GOTD. thanks jen!!!
Nice and subtle......perfect vid to watch/listen before bed. Thanks Lemmo and Jen for helping soothe my mind with some jazzy tones as I lay my head to rest. You guys are great and thanks for sharing.
tremendous progress. wow. that ending was almost tear-jearking, like love cut short. ps - dont look back. plan something for episode 200. then one year...
Little Khruangbin feel. Love it. You are allowing us to see your natural, vulnerable self. Its hard to do with a camera pointed at you. It makes GOT so much more intimate and interesting.
Beautiful Strat!! Played by a man who has over a hundred GOTD episodes under his belt, and played very nicely indeed!!! Congratulations on the first of many milestones I believe lay in front of you at Norm's, Mr. Lemmo. Jen, what can I say, you are a force of nature, shooting, and scripting (if needed) editing, fixing issues in post and then uploading to the channel, AND, you have to put up with the guys and their antics (although I imagine you tend to jump in right along with them), especially the Edibles at Night pair, which should be labelled as a trio with you as their manager!! lol I hope everyone has a safe and lovely weekend. See you next Tuesday!
That's one of the best sounding 60's Strats I've ever heard! I had a 64 Lake Placid Blue back in the 1970's but it had the dreaded Ice Pick highs that were tough to work around so I traded it for a 76 LP Std. Bad financial decision.....
I'm going to party like it's the end of the world. In honor of Leo's B'day, of course. Also, I love what you've been doing with that looper, Lemmo. Fantastic!
Great demo. And, he's wearing a cool t-shirt for a change. But that doesn't mean everyone who has a merch t-shirt with their band's logo on it shouldn't send one to Michael. If you're in a band, and you have t-shirts made with your band's logo, send one to Michael Lemmo at Norm's Rare Guitars. My guess is that he wears a size Large.
I’ve read a lot of the comments on guitar of the day and agree that many of these guitars sound fantastic. That being said what’s equally important is the guy playing it. I think you could hand Lemo a hundred dollar squire strat and he would make it sound great. Ether you have the chops or you don’t, Lemo definitely has the chops. Well done 👍 I
I love pre CBS strats this thing sounds awesome it just has that classic single coil ballsy tone my uncle has a 1970 strat in custom color he lets me jam on it when ever I go over to his house it’s a really nasty ballsy sounding strat
Is that a Lemmo tune in the neck? It sounds familiar, but it’s sounds good ...sounds great.Just can’t place it? Lemmo, that was just sweet. You make me want to play and that is the biggest compliment I can give you. Rarely am I moved by this and that demo. You bring it everyday and besides Norm seeing the future in old guitars, he was keen enough to see where this could. Love and look forward everyday. Someday I will call, unable to do anything else.
Great demo from Lemmo! This Strat is in unbelievable condition for a 65! On camera it looks like new because the pickguard and pickups look white and not yellow so I guess it must have been kept in a case all the time when not being played. Anyway, thanks for another super demo.
Lemmo is my favorite guitarist, fender should make a lemmo signature jazz master
Oops... I should have read the comments before I posted.
😂😂😂 Same thing
I'd buy one.
Agreed, I'd hit the BIN (Buy It Now) on that.
Have we seen his main JazzMaster?
Fender should hire him as the online marketing consultant. Then he can create a giant fiasco that leads to mass online criticism.
I am really proud of you and how far you have came at opening cases
Jason Brooks 😁

That's why I've been watching for all 100+ episodes. The Best...
Now that was some of the most beautiful guitar playing I’ve ever heard in my life
Classic Strat never gets old - Rock On👍
I always loved Fender,,,but seeing you play is another level of joy!
I generally am NOT a strat guy.... But that is a VERY VERY sweet guitar! And in sounds amazing
Daaaamn. That last piece was the best thing i've heard in a long time
Another great guitar and playing by Lemmo.
I used to own an all original Olympic White / June 1965 Fender Strat. It had a sweet tone & played smooth; like butter. I sure miss it!
Couldn’t imagine other fella that deserves more the privilege of playing those relics!!
You amaze me with your playing. Without Leo , despite what Les brought to the table we would not have the music structure we have today
Agreed
Jen keep being yourself, you do nothing but add to the experience of Normans video adventures, you're always cheerful and positive, thank you, Jeff in LA USA
Utterly fantastic! Mr. Lemmo is the one of the best! A perfect fit at Norm's! Don't ever leave. Stay & Play!
Love the bridge pickup on this one! Happy Birthday Mr. Fender!
Mike is the best guitarist Norn has ever had. I'm 65 years old and I believe Mike is one of the best zI ever heard.
Beautiful shape for a 65.I dig the finish and really dig the nice, rosewood fingerboard.sounds classic.
such a beautiful instrument and such a great musician. thank you so much'
Great Stratocaster. Love Straterday. Happy birthday Mr.Fender.
Favorite guitar of the day ever. Especially that last song. Long live the looper
It was nice meet you and the rest of the NRG gang. Will update the spreadsheet when we get home later next week.
It's folks like you who make the internet a cool place. Keep on rockin'!
Thank you, Bob. 🤘
Is there somewhere we can access the spreadsheet?

@@bobsimmons3466 that's just incredible!
"Yeah so it can be a little tricky to bend." *proceeds to play a song that is entirely bending and precise vibrato*
Lemmo for President ! His guitar playing could solve all the worlds problems ... with just a handful of Fenders !!
Anybody for president over that POS we have!!
Get everyone jamming to some good music and we might have world peace lol
@@GTRJohn13 ur an idiot ...
That's one of the best sounding Strats I've ever heard! It's mellow and sweet instead of bitey and thin. Wow!

Congratulations on the 100th episode LEMMO xx 🎸🎸🎉🎉🎉🎉 you are a total legend keep doing what your doing GOTD is legit 🎸🎸

So beautiful. Lots of sentiment in that jam. I felt a swell of emotion.
Retired PE teachers love your work!
Beautiful beautiful playing!!!
My personal favorite year of the Strat. Hell yeah
Nice and subtle......perfect vid to watch/listen before bed. Thanks Lemmo and Jen for helping soothe my mind with some jazzy tones as I lay my head to rest. You guys are great and thanks for sharing.
What an incredibile guitarist! Great creativity and musicality.
tremendous progress. wow. that ending was almost tear-jearking, like love cut short. ps - dont look back. plan something for episode 200. then one year...
Congratulations Mike. And what a wonderful strat!
I'm constantly impressed by his creativity and overall musicality. Inspiring.
Thank you for messing up with the looper at the start of that second track. Made me feel a lot better for always getting my timing wrong.
Little Khruangbin feel. Love it. You are allowing us to see your natural, vulnerable self. Its hard to do with a camera pointed at you. It makes GOT so much more intimate and interesting.

Lemmo could write so many hits, melodies just flow out if his fingers
That last song was terrific 👍🎸🎶🎵❤

that is probably the nicest looking sunburst I've seen on a fender.
Beautiful music with heartfelt soul, love that funk groove.
I'm looking forward to the next 100 episodes Lemmo. Thanks for everything you do.
Wow! That is super clean. Great job Lemmo. Once again you did the guitar justice 👍👏
Agreed
You’re the man Lemmo! Thanks for the inspiration. I have a 76 Stat, same color with a black pick guard.
hi from Australia, love the playing on this and love the guitar. There is definitely a magic mojo going on in transition strats
That’s a bad man right there, makes me want to go play my own guitar just like I did when I first started playing!
Woah over a hundred episodes already! 😯 Yeah how time flies! Well we love you Lemmo. I'm looking forward to a hundred more.
Love you too Lemmo. Keep doing your thing brother.
Some of the sweetest loopy noises that Mr. Lemmo has laid on us yet.
Happy birthday, Leo Fender! We all love you.
I'm going to party like it's the end of the world. In honor of Leo's B'day, of course. Also, I love what you've been doing with that looper, Lemmo. Fantastic!
He always comes up with these cool tunes !! 😎
Absolutely enjoy your playing.
Clown burst ...65 lots of red...in there....very cool...great shape and case👍👍...notice that dark Brazilian rosewood fretboard..
Damn, that was some killer playing! Thanks guys!!
Wesley alan was just thinking, I wonder if that one dude that always comments has commented yet? My man I knew it
Super Cool Mr Lemmo.....another fine demo under your belt...hey Jen.....
Nice bridge pickup on this one: sweet rather than spiky.
also my favorite episode yet
When is Norm going to start selling Lemmo shirts? My man has taken GOTD & owned it like a boss.
Love a 3 tone sunburst Strat played like that! Never hear the same riffage twice when Lemmo plays...unlike some others ha!!
That first tune is so sweet. Listened to it many times on Lemmo's IG.
What fantastic playing and a fantastic guitar.
Nice stray and its got such a killer tone. Lemmo with 100+ episodes already. Nice.
Love you lemmo and Jen

LEMMO forever!
Your playing really inspires me , thanks
This is a great guitar. Very nice and clean sound. for me a dream guitar.
That's a beautiful guitar!

Happy 100th show guys. I never miss it...Gonna miss yall for a whole week soon.. Jam it up man!!!! Hi Jen!
Happy belated 100th episode Lemmo ! That Strat is a beautiful "clown burst" example and you did a great job as usual ! Thanks Jen !

great playing Michael so good to hear some original feel
Happy Birthday Leo! Happy GOTD! Love the Strat for today! Awesome job Lemmo and Jen! However! Gotta do a Maton!
Damn.. that bridge pick up
the strat made me stay.. the playing made me subscribe.. Awesome looping and playing Michael!
that is an insanely beautiful guitar
Congratulations on 100. You've really made Guitar of the Day your own with your full blown compositions.....and Jenn's awesome too...
Amazing as always
What a great player
Thank you Lemmo🙏
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEO!
Love this guitar, Michael you’re amazing player
A lot of love here for Lemmo. Good for him. He seems like a nice kid. Maybe he should do an instruction channel like Tim Pierce?
wow beautiful condition & playing lemmo always inspiring, also gotta say as a middle position pup advocate you always do them justice man
So talented
I had a '64 that looked like this one. That was in 1965-66. "Cherry" sunburst, BTW.
Congrats 🎈🎊🎉 on 100 @ Mr. Lemmo!!!! Superb playing, (as usual). A Lemmo Jazzmaster sounds like a great idea if anyone at Fender is reading these 🙏🏼.
Nice little nod to mark he did before playing 😎

I have a '66 clownburst. Nearly identical but it has the standard strat rasp. This earlier year model certainly has a mellower tone.
Beautiful😍
