Nice bike, i gues you has being testing bikes until you decided to buy the Triumph Speed Triple. I love trail bikes, confortable, good position, you can go in the mountain, but on road you lose a lot of asphalt feeling, security, grip, because it´s tiny tyres.. But great bikes.
I really like adventure bikes, they are really comfortable, and you can ride with them pretty much everywhere. The only thing that you have to remember is that most of them are quite top heavy, and the 21" front wheel isn't as quick to turn as smaller wheels, plus less tyre grip because they are thinner. But there is also a few adventure bikes on the market with 19" front wheels which I think is a sweet spot between comfort and agility, but they're still quite heavy bikes: AT 1100 AS, Tiger 900/1200 GT Pro, 1290 SAS, GS 1250/1300, and probably there is few more.
