Oh my goodness, I have been looking for this a long time and is going to save me hours of work as I have 4 more apps to build as they use SP on-prem and infopath forms. I already have the company branding guide with all the corporate colours, similar to your theme layout, and their relevant hex numbers. Can’t wait to get it set up. Thank you so much Darren 👍
So great !!! It really makes me want to restart all my applications to put these themes in place. I created about ten themes in a row. Keep sharing, your work is so amazing ! You're the only one I know that makes projects from start to finish
This is an awesome video. I wish you had gone through applying the theme through the entire application using the global variables. That seems like the step that was missing from a design like this.
You have figured it out soo good, it just gets me❤🔥🔥🔥. So helpful got to learn so many amazing stuff. The variable linkage just has me, very well linked to change the color and the font color. Your strategies are off the charts!!🔥 Keep posting amazing content!!
This is a great tutorial. You are an excellent teacher. One question from me: How do i select different themes from a dropdown and apply them globally?
Thanks for the inquiry, Douglas. I am putting one together and I'll be doing a formal announcements soon. However, there will always be good and freely available content here on this channel too. If there's anything specific you'd like to see in the course or on the channel, please let me know! That's what will drive the content I make a priority. 😀👍
Thanks heaps Darren, love your teaching style and methodical process. I'm trying this with creating components and so far is working great. With the App OnStart being phased out, what would you do different here?
Thanks for the kind words. :) According this forum post (link at the end), App.OnStart will not be deprecated, just the Navigate() function within it. Have you seen any official Microsoft post or release saying it will be going away? If you have, email me and I'll dig into it and cover it. I know some app creators create a screen that has a loading spinner and they do everything there instead of the app.OnStart. So, that's an option. 😊😊 powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/OnStart-deprecation-where-do-I-place-global-variables/td-p/1870920
Does the Jumpstart Kit contain variables to change the colour of the date picker? Obviously not talking about the chevron, but the background when opening the date picker.

For those who want to change only the radius in the OnChange attribute of the slider:

Very nice! 😀👍

Could we Integrate power automate and power app? Just curious, well as always, great content
Absolutely! They were made for each other. Do you have an example of what you'd like to use Power Automate for?
Hi Darren, thanks for share!
Do you have an complete course of Power Apps?

It currently does not. This is slated for a future release though. Thanks for asking!
In the future that you can upload a video that features of sorting gallery by buttons format.
That would be nice!😊
Cool, but what are the right steps to prepare your theme template for selling it? ie just export it, in a solution or not?
Yes, exactly
You could press F12, and that would give you the MSAPP file to distribute it.
How would I go about changing all the colors if i want to use a drop down or a gallery?
Do you have my JumpStart kit yet? it has the feature that does just that for you😊
How do you change the screen color ? You didnt show it in ur video
Its all connected to the global color variable ☺️
