I don't know that I've ever read this part of the Bible but I've just realized that I could never be as brutal or violent as some of the wild things people did (like it was nothing) in the Old Testament. Who the heck drives a tent stake through someone's head? Yikes!!! That must have been truly horrible. I don't think I'd ever be able to do something like that. No matter how much I was wronged, I still don't think I could stomach killing another human. It's hard enough for me to cull chickens for dinner. If a war comes, then count me out. I'd rather get crucified alongside Jesus while I turn my other cheek to my persecutors. Thank you Pastor Conlon! Your words are so encouraging and eye-opening. I didn't understand what my brother Jerry was about to kill my mother I stood up told him bring it you will not hurt our mother and some demon got into him and he came at me and I took him down in jesus christ name and we had taken him down together and won and had a stunt gun and finish him and called the police and just waiting for them to come and arrest him. But no they came to shoot him because he had used a knife on a man nearby. So I pray everyday now.
