How does the Item Sith Holocron play? Is it tied to a location in my sector? Does it activate its effect when I pay its Ambition to be played? Or does it need to have its Activation cost paid to use the effect to search a hero and play it with the -2 Strength?
It is an item and you place it at any location in your sector! When you move to the location it adds that activate ability so you can pay the power to do the effect :)
@RavensburgerGames So anytime a card you play has an activation symbol, it adds that ability as an extra action you can do at that location? Also, why does the rulebook say that activate cost is always paid in credits but the Sith Holocron has the ambition symbol for its cost? Would I use ambition or credits here?
@@RavensburgerGames Can you clarify whether the Holocron allows that location to gain an activate action or not? It’s differently set up than all other cards that allow a location to gain an action.
I don’t understand the tutorial. 1:34 said when you take a vanquish action instead of discarding the hero put -1 counters on it instead. Help me understand how a hero gets -1 counters instead of being discarded.
In Darth Mauls Villain guide it is explained in detail what happens when Maul defeats heroes. When Darth Maul defeats a Hero in a Vanquish action, instead of that Hero being discarded, they are given one -1 Strength Token. As soon as a Hero at the top of Darth Maul's Sector has 0 Strength, they are moved to the bottom of the Sector, where they are still treated as a Hero. Darth Maul can then use Heroes on the bottom of his Sector to defeat a Hero at the top of his Sector using normal Vanquish rules, which will result in his victory. Hope that helps :)
How long does an increase in strength that does not specify using strength tokens stay? Cards like: Old Master, Together You and I, and My Power was Almost. Is it a permanent as long as the ally or hero remains on the board, or maybe until the end of the turn, or something else?
Don’t let this franchise die! Love everything you guys do
How can you get a hero if nobody plays fate on Darth Maul? There should be cards in Mauls villain deck to do that
Hi! There is actually a Sith Holocron Item you can use to bring Fates to your own Sector. Hope this helps :)
Dang, I really look forward to trying this out, seems very dynamic.
Gosh dang, this flavor is amazing.
We are very happy with the results!

Strength change is permanent.
Can a Hero be menouvered with the menouver action once it moves to the villain side ?
Yes they can be! :)
@@RavensburgerGames Thank you!
Where buy it online?
@@raffaelemarfella1109 it was available on Board Game Bliss if you are in Canada, but I believe most villainous games are sold in Target stores.
