Sophia Jansson, Tove Jansson's niece, reads aloud the beloved Moomin story about the Invisible Child.
You can reflect on the story with children with the help of these questions: moom.in/invisi...
*I'm gonna need a reading of all the stories mashed together in one video, that i can fall asleep to*
Could do a playlist, not sure about ads though.
@@kylethomas9130 my mom always told me bedtime stories with ads between them, what stories did you read as a kid?

After worrying about the virus, I saw this and clicked it. All of a sudden I feel comforted. I can finally forget everything that's happening now for a while and have some peace. Thank you for uploading this.

Little My is the best "Did you bash her head?"
Also, this is a cute little story. I like how it was written so kids can understand, even back then
lmao
I am blind and it very hard to find these books in brail so this is really cool!
Mind if I ask a question? How do blind people use the Internet? Do you have computers or phones specifically designed for you?
@@falkner9072 I’m not blind myself, but I don’t think so. I used to know a boy who was blind and he never used anything special like that. There may be some but I will never know. I do suppose that they might have someone else turn on there devises for them and work them. The certain blind person may ask to go on an app such as RUclips. If they want to write a comment, they might say the words for the other person. I honestly have no idea but that is what I imagine may happen. I know there are special glasses but they seem very expensive. Not that blind people are poor. I suppose some of them are quite rich in fact! I do suppose your disability doesn’t define your class. Not that being blind is a disability at all because your other senses are heightened. It may be your hearing is heightened while your eyesight is gone. You may call it whatever you want of course. It all depends on the person you ask.
@@falkner9072 hi there and thanks for your interest in learning about this! People who are blind or have very low vision really on software called screen readers. When you build a website, you can assign each bit of text an order for it to be read in and you can provide alternative text (called alt text) for images that describes what it's depicting. Screen readers read information in the order you've assigned and have access to read out the alt text. It's all part of a technological accessibility and helps ensure that everyone, no matter what accommodations they need, can absorb the same information from a site, as people who don't need accessible accommodations. I encourage you to look into it as it's great to learn about. I was the head of the accessibility department at my workplace when we first established the department and it's been a pleasure to learn about everything we can do to help one another :-)

Is that plush on the left? Stinky?
It's the Moomin ancestor :D
It's the ancestor from Moominland Midwinter
That's Moomin's ancestor, not Stinky :((
The (moomin)ancestor
Yes, it’s their ancestor. I believe he appears only in one episode in 90’s animated serie but he is mentioned quite often in the books and comics. He lives in moomin house and sleeps in fireplace.
