i always try to explain that if you want an analog sound you still have to use the gear, daws are just camera's. If the sound you want aint what you want going in, then you may have trouble getting it exactly like that, but its gonna be most likely not noticeable to the common ear lol your shit sounds great too. awesome job. glad i came across your channel. subbbbbed.@@vigilantestylez
@@datravman recently I been messing around with some plugins that have a nice analog vibe. Fuse Audio Labs V72 micpre, and softube tape. Softube tape sounds really good, but is not exactly like real tape sound, but it has a nice vibe. Ofc if I must have a real tape sound, I go to mixanalog dot com, and just use their studer tape machine in the cloud, and then a mix done with analog emulations printed to real tape sounds perfectly analog, and wonderful, then you can do a digital clean master since all the vibe is baked in with the emulations, and the real tape machine. But yeah, it can all be done with plugins, and no one will know the difference. As long as it sounds great. :)
Hey man! Talking about analog versus digital. Truth. I've had neve 8816 summing box . But after doing critical test I decided to sell this pricey decoration for my studio. I'll make a video about my thoughts on this mystery analog summing. Cuz this thing is BS. There's no magic at all. Just harmonics. Which can be reproduced with a lot of plugins. What matters the most - monitoring and plugin coding 😂 Thanks for the video 💪
You're welcome! Yeah, it was a Dan Worrall video called "summing shumming" that made me realize that a summing mixer is just giving us saturation which we can get in the box already. 😊
Yes, I know, only the genius masters chaos ;-), but did you know that you can sort the channels so that, for example, all the drum tracks are together? It should make life easier
I came here to listen to the mixbus 32c. But I had to leave because you kept going on your rant for way too long. I left after 11:39. What you are saying, i agree with you, but don't let someone get you that upset. 🤔
I love this guy, I am now a subscriber.
Thanks! Haha! 😂 I keep it real. 😂
Thanks for the video. I'm new to mix bus 32c watching you makes it so much easier.
Glad to hear it! I am only scratching the surface of what Harrison Mixbus 32C can do! It's the best DAW for mixing in my humble opinion. 😊💯💯💯
Hey man just found your channel, looking forward to watching some of these videos, it's always interesting to watch someone's process, cheers.
Welcome aboard! 😊💯💯💯
Spot on on your digital analog rant.
Thanks my friend! It's just what I realized over the years doing this stuff. 😊

@@vigilantestylez very reasonable approach! The sound can’t have color if it ain’t got none!
Great content as usual! Keep it up Vigi!
Thanks, will do! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯

@@vigilantestylez Yep, actually that video by Dan inspired me to make my own test 👌

Good tip! I didn't know, there is so much to this DAW that I am still trying to figure out. Thanks for the advice! 😊😊😊😊

Watch the Mixbus PRO video. I talk less, and most of my viewers like the rants.
Can you talk without cursing
