Sorry, don't agree with the gentleman!
Model socialism only breeds poverty. Collectivist economic philosophy has failed everywhere. Why did Deng Xiaoping turn the entire gamut of economics in China? what made him revolt against Marxism and Maoist Economics? Must learn from those insights. China debunked socialism and communism style economic planning because they knew it's not working.
The GREAT LEAP forward lead to a famine in China and didn't reduce poverty.
Learn from the Chinese Collectivists and don't talk about left win politics or economics.
