Well, wait until the Ghoul/Pistol update in March i think, and you won't be one of the few players running around with a Pistol build any longer - probably all new Ghoul player will be rocking that Revolver or something similar...

Technically rare but both are outclassed by pretty much any other regular legendary version of said gun. Most specific or named unique weapons are trash in this game. The resolve breaker is probably the only unique gun that is actually OP being bloodied and two shot.
Not 100% sure, but I saw somewhere that said you have a better chance at getting the rare weapons to drop if the belhop is painted like he's wearing a tuxedo. If he looks like a regular protectron, server hop until you find the right one.

Got both of them hanging on wall display thingies in my main camp. Can't remember when I got them but thought "They look nice ..." So thanks for enlightening me on their rarity. 🤣

There is a rare weapon you can get from robot at wavey willards that does fire damage. Mutated packs give the shotgun as a bonus item so sometimes you get 2 and get a lot of them

Then they started dropping, at least for me, fairly regularly from the mutated packs. Now I have them for sale at my vendor and they look impressive spinning there every day because nobody wants them. Regardless, thanks for the video and take care.
I had a rare find myself recently. I had not been in a good mood to out and out hunt for the mole miner treasure hunters but I was on a roll and making mad bank with my camp vendor shop. so i decided to completely ignore every bit of wisdom ever shared about that event and buy a couple ornate mole miner pails. Then I promptly forgot about them. After the event was over, I went through my tinkering station's options looking for something completely different and saw the mole miner pails were still available to craft. So obviously, duh, I crafted them. When I opened one of the ornate pails I got a surprise, a Garrahan Foreman's outfit. I'm still missing the helmet. But together the two pieces of clothing resemble a mole miner's suit! This outfit is ONLY available from mole miner pails. By spending caps on what would normally be considered a waste, I got a rare outfit. As for the revolver. I don't use a single action. I used the western. There's a challenge with a prize of 80 atoms (yes, I know its a pittance but its free damnit!) for killing 1010 robots with a revolver. So I equipped my western revolver with troubleshooters and explosive, and dutifully equipped all three ranks of gunslinger, and lo and behold, it's actually halfway decent at crippling assaultrons. Sentry bots... not so much. How do I know? Because I accidentally knicked a whitespring sentry bot with it trying to catch a one star legendary stingwing. V.V;;; I had like five assaultrons and four sentry bots chasing me down the road. couldn't get away, couldn't fast travel until they were all dead. When i couldn't cripple the sentry bots, I pulled out my tesla. But by then the assaultrons were all dead.
I have 3 shotguns and 2 revolvers. I am nearing 6000 hours and Top of the Mountain is my stomping ground. The shot gun is loud, and I am a Berserker so they are on a mule, but someday maybe I will breakout a power armor and make some noise, but but Emerson a TOTW it will be Raider armor. I had two sets of the talking armor but that voice goes away upon repair- too bad for that.
lol, I'm the 1 person that does... or rather DID. I abandoned my pistol build a while ago but I did run a revolver as my secondary for quite a while. I had a enclave plasma pistol for my main but when I needed more reach I had a decked out western revolver that could reach out pretty far, it was great for ranged and it was a TSE before that got nerfed so it packed a decent punch too, especially when undetected.
Lol, I've scrapped several of them. My stash just doesn't have enough room. Bethesda needs to increase stash size. The keep adding different weapon displays and power paints but not enough room to display more than a few of them.

The fancy revolver with the null legendary effect is still somewhat rare, i saw someone got one recently I just can’t recall if they got it from the mutated packs or claim tickets
I'd like to keep my fancy guns but they are so easy to get with them now dropping out of party packs and of course Bellhop. They weigh like 23-24 pounds so I got rid of mine to make room for legendary box mods I got over 500 now going to be some good scrapping on them.
I gave up trading in the tickets because I never received anything worth having. I'm also not very interested in collecting very rare collections of pixels...
I started with a revolver, though I ditched it somewhere between 35/50 for rifles. Now I'm running automatics, heading towards heavy gun. I think the damage output is seriously lacking. I can get 1000 out of my gauss rifle, but its too slow for effective combat in close quarters. Soo I have a bloodied explosive fixer & an armour piercing faster fire with vats reduction. As well as an auto slug buster. I think k the upcoming damage buffs are needed. I am only about lvl 130 & have struggled at times. ❤
Anything different from the skins you can buy with atoms? they look the same. If it's the same skin then all you really have is a pistol lacking legendary mods.
Man I've never ever got any and I've turned it 100's of those tickets. Not to mention I most likely got 200+ on the one character I'm focuseing on now lol.. The time you need to spend due to the insane slowmotion of that Belhop sure dont make it likely that I'll be useing close to 3hrs just dumping those tickets.. Pretty cool skins on them though, but since I'm not a completionist etc - I have no desire to get them to put it that way. Had they actually been able to re-roll the effects then maybe it could be worth it. I mean isnt revolvers and pistols supposed to get a long overdue buff in the next big content?

The Fancy Pump and Fancy SAR were added to the loot pool for Mutated Party Packs. It was part of the December update.

I actually got both of these at a 3 star legendary from the mutated crates from the event. I had no idea they were rare thank God I didn't scap them.
The new update come march will change how pistols are going to function so people might want it

Shotgun can be Anti-Armour. Still not a competitive weapon...
I like the combat shotgun. The pump is just too slow.
The fancy has bigger mag size and slightly better damage than regular one, still slow though.
