I was a passenger in a hired car, and the driver was stopped by Agra police. Negotiations started at 5000 rupees and finally was settled for 200 rupees.
The driver cursed the police continuously for 3 hours for selling out his uniform as he was prepared to pay the fine but paid the bribe to complete his trip on time.
That driver is good person, warna 200 rupees Mai Saab nipat jata hai, by driver and traffic police rather than giving 500 rupees for fine.
As it was profitable for him and for policemen also.😅

In Tamil Nadu it is mandatory for all govt employees to update about their property and Gold holdings to govt every year

Last yr I ordered a bed from flipkart, on the day of delivery the delivery boy refused to carry the bed to 1st floor saying that the technician will carry the bed to 1st floor. Then next day technician came, he made the same statement that it was delivery guys work. Finally I had to pay him 500 as bribe. But when it comes to corruption we govt employees always remembered as 1st option.

This scheme has already been implemented in Public Sector Banks for many years. It's good that slowly the State Government is implementing it. It should be implemented across all States.
In rajasthan government more than 5 years immovable property is declared every year but valuation of property shown by employees is very low so all rules are formalities there.
