This segment kicked ass, have to say 2012 already makes me forget about 2011-2010-2009 in TNA.
This was a great episode of IMPACT and this was one of the best promos of the year so far.
The match they booked was one of the best tag matches to watch. There was so much going on, somebody should upload it

I watched Aries in ROH, PWG, Chikara and other promotions. But during the past few years (especially since Hogan showed up again) I pity each and every Wrestler on the TNA payroll. I really do. I wanna see Aries, the MCMG, Styles and Daniels. But I can't bring myself to suffer through those bogus storylines and "i wanna pull my hair out" bookings. I can't watch those has beens cluttering up a pretty good roster. Seeing my favs getting fired and people I don't care for or even hate get hired.

@MadeinBangladesh0235 Not necessarily. They're just doing their own thing now. Bully Ray and Scott Steiner tried to recruit Abyss again to join Immortal a month ago or so. Immortal isn't really active because there's no big team like Fourtune to fight against. The guys of Immortal still help each other though like you see 2 members in the ring in this promo.
I would keep it down to "The Three". Smaller factions can be more powerful and effective and stand a greater chance of getting the members "over". Another small rival faction of 3 including James Storm could form for the feud. Then the two factions can merge (down the line) and create an almighty powerful faction to have a reign of terror over the wrestlers of TNA!

@ThaChamp32 Did any wrestling promotion have any of that after just 10 years? Just saying, for its time TNA is doing pretty well for itself. Its still in business, it has Hogan, Angle, Hardy, Sting etc... if your looking for worldwide names and then they have their own homegrown talent who are to their standard aswell :)

@rchris36 I would say there is a "top spot" in the sense that although not a wrestling company WWE would fight like it was 1999 all over again to keep themselves ahead of TNA. It's not a wrestling company but we see a lot of wrestling.
TNA is good, but tell me this, when did TNA perform in Madison Square Garden? When was the last time TNA had over 100,000 fans at an event? Two of the last three Bound for Glory events have been on college campuses. Tell me when TNA had superstars like The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin? When did TNA have actors, athletes, or anyone run Impact?

Bobby Roode is awesome, but that title belt is fucking horrific. Austin Aries is absolutely fucking incredible as well. It is terrible that Bully Ray is in the ring, getting free, cheap, unworthy heat by doing so. He is a hell of a heel on his own, but nowhere near a main event heel.
Ironic Aries would turn face and beat Bully Ray and take the world title off Roode.

@Hakimleavehome Sting is much better on the mic than The Undertaker. Sting is one of the best actors in wrestling history, and he has an electrifying personality. I don't think you can compare Sting to CM Punk. CM Punk's famous promos are Vince Russo-style shoot promos, which I guess are OK if you like shoots. Sting pretty much always stays in character. Sting's trash talking is directed toward TV storylines and characters rather than backstage politicians.

@ripTheRevPaulGray 2010-2011 was a mess there was TOO much time devoted to Hulk Hogan and Immortal which went on TOO long, plus the Title picture was a bit crazy
Hogan might be making some great matches (Hardy vs Anderson vs RVD) & Open Fight Night, but he doesn't have the same amount of charisma & unpredictability of Sting

@dbzdezz1 Yes I was about to add to my comment that WWE have total domination of the wrestling market and they don't even need to call themselves wrestling anymore. But I thought it was too obvious. No doubt CM Punk would have been used far better in a competitive wrestling market and possibly be face of the company right now.
@freelandwhippet I think Bully Ray can be a main even heel. But I totally agree about the title, it is hideous. Actually I hate the whole changing TNA to just Impact wrestling.
"vince is not in the wrestlin business so how can wwe compete". That is really silly. Following that statement would imply that TNA go to 3.0 in the ratings, tour the entire United States live each week, sign John Cena, get a massive TV deal and Vinnie Mac has a laugh and says I aint in the wrestlin business, no need to compete. Yes right, turkeys are voting for Christmas!

@dbzdezz1 I guess WWE feel being "bad" is a price worth paying for total domination of the wrestling world. Ideally WCE would have kept going except be run by WWE. That way fans could have had dream pay per views for many years. Likewise TNA and WWE working together would be great for fans. Ultimately you wouldn't expect WWE to relinquish top spot.

WWE and TNA need to work together for the good of wrestling. We know this won't happen anytime soon for obvious reasons. But awareness of wrestling very very low. WWE would improve awareness of TNA and always have the option of burying them like they did with WCW if they became too much of a threat.

I realise that Sting I trying to appear like the Undertaker. Sting is trying to make impact wrestling entertaining like CM Punk. I rather watch Sting in action and watch more wrestling matches. I rather watch more than 5 wrestling matches every week.

@MrCMPUNKFAN1000 I had no enthusiasm for Sting as champion this time last year and didn't enjoy his title reign. Now if only the crazy Sting could have one last title reign. I think Sting will have a good outing against Roode regardless of the booked result.
