but it can be that. you know back in the day people suggested many new invaders to play ALOT pf arena 1v1 s and then 2v2s? if you invest time and effort into these games they can give you a lot more but if you just casually hit the invasion button and expect to style on everyone well...
ER and its players def make invading with friendly-first vibes and funky suboptimal builds an extra challenge, but as Miyazaki intended, the challenge is part of the fun 🍻
i wonder if running a small circle and applying the drawstring grease before the riposte would be faster than applying the drawstring grease while standing, so maybe u can hit the riposte more reliably
It def can help! Also crouch-running has a really funky freeze-frame style animation. A few rough connection days this week made landing the greased ripostes extra tough, gotta say 😅
I'm kind of a beginner at invasions. Doing level 10 invasions at the moment. Some over-leveled cooperaters are giving troubles but it's fun. Some dude dropped 78000 runes yesterday. I dunno what level he was. After playing like 10 hours of pvp I can only imagine this level of skill and knowledge😅
Welcome to the turbulent world of invading ER! RL10-ish invasions can simultaneously be the easiest and most difficult depending on your build, and relative to the amount of absurdly overleveled phantoms babysitting hosts in that bracket. 78,000 runes is around RL313, more than double the highest RL I've ever played at. You know you've hit the max level RL713 jackpot when you see 353K drop into your wallet. Elden ring noob here. On my first play through and I literally today just solved the mirage rise puzzle to get the two unseen spells. I have a magic staff and the moonveil Katana but can’t use the spell even with the right stats and I feel super dumb. great video tho ❤
You can only use Unseen Blade on non-somber, non-elemental weapons. For example, a Keen Uchigatana would work, while Moonveil will not. No need to feel dumb, just stay groovy and have a fun first playthrough! 🍻

how are you buffing your weapon without going through the menu or your items?? cause i saw you buff your weapon with a string grease, but the items slot was on the estus flask haha
@@Crit-Multiplier I guess if they at least rolled then I could know for sure that they comprehended getting parried, instead of literally shutting their eyes and mashing R1. When invading, it becomes somewhat evident that many people you invade aren't really sentient.

Cool vid but you're always raiding like lvl 40 players with you having a few hundred hours in pvp. I just don't think letting pitbull in the kindergarden is fair. That can be ok for gimmick weak builds but all the last ones were basically just a fashion.
a players lvl, as you have just stated yourself, is no indicator for a players skill lvl. thus it does not matter if he invades at 40 or 200. heck the worst ppl have always been max lvl anyways lmao you ever tried max lvl invasions?
I'm sure the full Radahn set wearing Kevins with late game boss weapons are all first time level 40 players and they're definitely not on NG+5 at this point.
