- This video shows the Top 20 provinces/states with highest GDP in India and China from 1993 to 2017. Indian states had relatively similar GDP back in the 1990s, but as China joined WTO in 2001, its provinces' GDP increased drastically ever since. However, due to the recent trade war between China and USA, Chinese provinces' GDP growth rate could suffer.
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is a monetary measure of the market value of all the final goods and services produced in a period of time, often annually or quarterly. Nominal GDP estimates are commonly used to determine the economic performance of a whole country or region, and to make international comparisons.

After that Greater Bay Area will be biggest economic zone in the world.
I mean Chinese government is not planing, "is doing" the longest bridge is completed and open yesterday which is linked HK, Zhuhai, Macau together and another bride is under construction from Shenzhen to Zhongshan will be complete in a few year which will be take 20mins from Shenzhen to Zhongshan instead a few hours.
In the Greater Bay Area the Metro system will be linked all those cities together.

The biggest flaw of democracy is one singular assumption. The assumption that winning the popular vote of the people means doing what's right for the country.
Or rather, someone who is good at rallying people's votes is good at leading the country.
This is flawed because it results in an influx of incompetent yet charismatic figureheads. People like Trump who has 0 governing experience, who has absolutely no prior knowledge working in the government sector, and has no merits prior to his presidency.

Loss at Panipat was big blow for Marathas. It was followed by the immediate death of Nanasaheb. Haider Ali (father of Tipu) used this moment for his advantage. Along with Raghoba dada, he tried to take down Authorities in Pune. After brief war, Treaty was signed between Maratha and Haider. Marathas had another blow from the death of Madhavrao and assassination of Narayanrao. British tried to use situation take over Maratha influence. Marathas defeated British at Wadgaon. Mysore did not come to help. Rather Tipu marched further into Maratha territory. Due continues wars Maratha Empire wasn't strong anymore. Nana Fadanvis was getting desperate to regain control of lost territories. At this point, Marathas asked help from British. Initially British were not interested, finally, an alliance was formed between British and Maratha against Tipu and Nizam.
The Third Anglo-Maratha War (1817-1818) was the final and decisive conflict between the British East India Company (EIC) and the Maratha Empire in India, The Maratha Empire completely ended after the 3rd Anglo-Maratha War. The British completely controlled India

'The Maratha-Mysore War ended after the Maratha's faced defeat in the final conflict during the Siege of Bahadur Benda in January 1787, and later settled for peace with the victorious kingdom of Mysore, to which Tipu Sultan obliged with the signing of the treaty of Gajendragad, in April 1787, thus ending hostilities with the Marathas and allowing Tipu Sultan to focus on his rivalry with the British'.
Under Tipu Sultan, Mysore enjoyed one of the world's highest real wages and living standards in the late 18th century, higher than Britain, which in turn had the highest living standards in Europe. Mysore's average per-capita income was five times higher than subsistence level i.e. five times higher than $400 (1990 international dollars) or $2,000 per capita. In comparison, the highest national per-capita incomes in 1820 were $1,838 for the Netherlands and $1,706 for Britain.
Tipu's rivalry was with the British, while Maratha wanted a revenge on Mysore and they imposed taxing of peasants not much different to Mughals, they sided with British east India company thinking if Mysore was out of the picture, they could become the most powerful kingdom, and then later they lost to Brits. So that explains why local rivalry to Maratha was more important and they did not see the big picture. I don't see anywhere where Tipu backstabbed Maratha, he was killed by the Brits. French military advisers told Tipu Sultan to escape when his fort was invaded via secret passages, but he replied, "Better to live one day as a tiger than a thousand years as a sheep"

I’m from China, and I do respect India. As the mostly populated regions of the world, these two are where the future lies in. We should go on cooperating economically with each other to build a Pan-Asian free trade zone, size of the EU but with a larger market which will be bigger and more competitive enough to beat any other economic entities in the world. To let that happen, we still have a long way to go.

Well I just saw how 2008 Recession Badly hitted India's service sector and BPO so hard that many states were not even able to achieve the same growth rate as their Chinese counterpart and started to fall behind
