I think you missed something about the foundation tone.
NW (neutral warm) is for cool, pink undertones, while NC (neutral cool) is for warm, yellow undertones.
So the foundation is just okay for your skin tone, NC is for warm tones while NW is for cool tones.

For oil control you should try the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Longwear Foundation or the Estee Lauder one.. both work wonderfully.
I love mac studio fix and pro long wear concealerer, it's my favourite of all foundation.
Joana try the Mac studio fix fluid long wear foundation, that one is abit old fashion the new one is called fluid long wear and it has a pump and it’s full coverage .

With Mac NC is actually a warm undertone because the NC basically means Not Cool (Cold) and NW means Not Warm..
Looks very, very nice overall. I think it IS your shade because you warmed it up with the bronzer . Good job !!

Hey Joanna, I’m sorry to say that foundation isn’t the right shade for you. You should have gotten NC 47. That’s your skin tone. The reason you’re finding it “too cool” is because it’s a shade lighter. NC's are basically warmer undertones in the MAC Spectrum. Hope this helps you.☺️

Hey, not that I’m a pro or anything but with foundations that don’t match fully (which is almost all) blend it down to your neck always so it looks like it properly matches.

Hey Joanna,Woke up early today,had a long day at work then came back home to no lights for the 2nd day which means no Wi-Fi,no RUclips & no vlogmas.So I made dinner then rushed to our neighbours who had electricity & downloaded a couple of vlogmasses to watch offline-(the struggle 😣)I hadn't caught up on.There was no way I was gonna miss out on them.❤

I got the mac studio sculpt foundation in nw 43, which is for cool, red undertones, but if you look at me, I'm very yellow. I have to mix it with a yellow powder so it doesn't look off. I'm kinda mad cos it was a rare (and expensive) treat for myself, and they literally shade matched me (mac, garden city) and it looked perfect in their lighting. But in the sun it looks off on its own. I didn't even think of returning it. Upsides, it's very good and came in a squeezable tube. Cost about 5k.

The foundation looks very skinlike - natural. I spent the better part of my morning at the hospital and the afternoon catching up with Big bang theory.
Crazy fixed with some assessments and there's nothing bad than doing an online assessment which when once you click submit, you get your results. So nerve wrecking but am glad it went well. Can't wait for the journey ahead.!!!!!!

I literally spent my day doing my last exam paper only to come out of the exam room and hear that the papers I did last week had been leaked by some students and we literally have to repeat those papers coming this Saturday.I am so torn honestly,knowing I did that paper with all honesty,it was a hard paper and I remember getting out and I almost cried but I feel it is a blessing in disguise since I will have an opportunity to do better but being a Saturday early morning and I have more papers this week I will have to work extra hard.Wish me all the best guys I know God got me🙏🏽

Whats the difference between full coverage and light coverage? When do you use full coverage and when do you use light coverage?

Light coverage is when your skin is still visible underneath the foundation, suitable for people who don't have spots.
Full coverage covers everything, so if you want to cover something on your face this would be good.

Hey Joanna the foundation is OK except I suggest u take one shade darker next time. So maybe you can buy the studio fix powder in a shade darker to go with that foundation. Had a busy day revamping the house, but couldn't go to bed without watching vlogmas.

So today I basically helped my sister declatter her house. That was her plan for her 30th bday which she never really helped with. Her friends called her for lunch, I haven't since but she's good. She's 30. Anyway, I am super duper exhausted. Declattering, supervising mama safi n then arranging stuff because the fumigating guys come tomorrow. Yeaaaaa... So I'm just here watching you. Wondering why that Mac looks like that. I love Mac. I use Mac at times. It does look good but I've seen you look better.
Mac shade matching in their stores is always a fail (in my experience). You can tell them to give you small amounts of like 3 shades to carry home before the final purchase. At least you get to test it in natural light first. Or you can shade match on findation.com first. But if you get your Mac shade it's a pretty decent foundation :)
