How’s this affect when towing a 34’ 5th wheel. Is there a lot of sag? I’m thinking about doing a level but I don’t want to do airbags or anything. Want to keep it as Oem as possible.
I don't believe you mentioned but what was the approximate height increase you set this truck for over stock ride height ( which as you pointed out was not maxing out the upper control arms at this height setting ).
@@coryohanlan194 I skimmed through it again just now, yes your right that he did list the planned height increase. It was at the end where he is mentioning how at "this height" ( after the lift was installed ) that the upper control arms don't need to be replaced. I'd be curious to know what droop travel is left after that much height increase, often I find that topic is avoided ( not saying this channel is ) as lifting too far within the travel causes a horrible ride and hard on the suspension as the suspension tops out way too easy and too often.
@@charlesb4267I think it was a good video bc when I talked to him it was the same issue, I don’t want to mess up the nice ride so that’s what I’m looking for too
@@coryohanlan194 I hear you on the ride issue, going at a suspension change the wrong way can result in disappointment with not only ride but handling and undue accelerated wear. That reminds me that I have asked more than one of these suspension youtube channels about customer feedback over installing the cognito soft ride torsion bars they make for the HD GM trucks but have not really got much of a response. I've seen one small channel that the owner of his truck swapped in a set of torsion bars after having done a leveling job on his truck and he claimed a noticeable improvement in ride.
Great work. I opted for 37x11.5 Nitto Ridges and love them… rubber just a hair.
Thanks Jake!!! Appreciate the job you guys did on my new truck.
I didn’t want the paint match fenders. Black makes it pop for me.
Makes it look like every other stock truck.
Dam straight, summit white truck, black flares ,black fuel wheels with 35's,gotta get rid of the shitty goodyear tires
I’m glad you are happy with it! Thanks for the business!
Love the GMC ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
Beautiful truck right there
Looks great. Would have changed out the junk Ranchos for some Bilsteins.
Bilstein does make a great shock.
Without a doubt it's a beautiful truck, but beauty comes with a price...
You're not wrong!
You learned me something today. 😂
I try lol

Looks great just need to paint match the fender flares
Nope!
What 2.5 leveling kit do you recommend for my 2016 Silverado 1500, and what tires would you recommend for a daily? I really want 35 Toyo M/T….
If you are looking for a 2.5" level I would say a Supreme Suspension one would be the best, and YES Toyo MT is the best.
What was the final lift from stock that you settled on and how did you determine what it would be?
We usually do 2.5" in front and that levels it
I’ll take the no rub option 😂
Me too
How does the Recon compare to the Ridge? I have a 6" lift currently with KO2. I have been looking to add one of these tires.
I hear the ridge grapplers are quieter.
They are very similar to each other. Both are amazing tires.

At the beginning he said 2.5”

Do the headlights blast people through their windshield when these are leveled?
No, they can be adjusted down
I have a 24 at4HD. Really wanting to do 37-12.50 MT, what do I need to do to get it to turn at full lock with minimal rubbing?
You could just do the 2.5” SuspensionMAXX torsion keys or the 4” McGaughys or Cognito lift kit
@ thanks for the reply!
Do the different tires affect towing?
No sir
Yep GMC changed to black on the grill for 2025 on the ultimate. Wished they would have kept the vader chrome
Me too
That grill looks terrible that way. Should’ve just blacked out the entire grill.
