      Used for 2 years now .pros very well made it will last for years and comfortable when carrying. Cons the addition of a carry handle on the top box/bag would of been great and a solid style lid on the main top so it can be used as a small table also would of made it next level

    Is it possible to attach the large quickdraw unhooking mat to the standard 40 liter camo Rucksack?

  • @nerokys8479
    @nerokys8479 2 года назад

    Can the Korda tackle box fit in the rucksack? I'm also thinking of using the top pouch for delkim standard plus models with snag ears and a quick release adapter from a fox black label qr bankstick, do you think they will fit.

    Been waiting for this since I got the QuickDraw mat….. perfect for stalking sessions or piking on the move 🙌.
    I will say though that I feel the mat could & should have been better…..the string pull sides are pretty pants in all honesty and I personally would rather have sacrificed the sides and had a standard thicker flat mat with Velcro cover that rolled up an attached the same.

    • @ESPCarpgear
      @ESPCarpgear  2 года назад

      Thanks for the comment. We have sold lots of the mats and virtually no issues with the pullstrings - they are pretty damn strong!

    I'm sure a lot of thinking has gone into this rucksack and is well made but £90 just seems way too pricey (in my opinion) for the "short session angler". It's still just a rucksack. Don't want to be too negative as I'm not normally

  • @Toronto_James
    @Toronto_James 2 года назад

    This looks great Dave - Is that double zips I can see on the pockets? (Yay) I will have to buy mail order as there are no carp shops in Toronto so I wanted to check on a couple of things - I have the current rucksack and the central pocket is a little too big for me - this one looks like it's a little shorter / smaller with some of that space being used in the tackle wallet on the top. Is that right?

  • @andreastrulsson8862

    sadly one feature that's missing for making this rucksack everything youll ever need. wish the were a way to secure the duralite chair to the rucksack just like the korum transition rucksack has, that feature alone is what will make me use the korum rucksack for as long as possible honestly.

  • @tonysmall3863

    Shame ESP/Drennan didn’t take the best bits from both their rucksacks and try to incorporate into one.

      @ESPCarpgear  2 года назад

      Which aspects do you mean Tony?

  • @joelohalloran200
    @joelohalloran200 3 года назад

    Loosely based on the Drennan Specialist roving rucksack. Same shape and configuration of pockets and same way the unhooking mat attaches.
    The addition of the removable tackle bag and the military style loops for transporting banks ticks is great.
    However, it is missing the benefit of the cool bait storage section on the top. One of the side pockets could have been repurposed for this.

    • @ESPCarpgear
      @ESPCarpgear  2 года назад

      Hi Joe, we find it is quite rare for carp anglers to take bait inside their rucksack as opposed to a bucket or similar. The Specialist Rucksack sees people using smaller amounts of fresh bait so it suited the other species better.

    • @joelohalloran200
      @joelohalloran200 2 года назад

      @@ESPCarpgear wow. Thanks a lot for replying. I failed to mention that it looks brilliant. I guess I would recommend the addition of the loops on the specialist version. As well as the detachable tackle bag. If these were on the specialist bag it would be onf of the best bags on the market.
      One other recommendation as I might have your attention this one last time 😉
      For the specialist bag. It would be brilliant if a chair could be attached. This is only present on two bags on the market. And imo makes a huge difference to the mobile angler. Walking miles with a chair under the arm is challenging. Even for a fit person. So, anything to make fishing easier is a good idea 💡
