60% of the population has MTHFR - most don't know they carry this gene. What does that mean? Enriched flour is flour that has synthetic folic acid. What does that mean to someone with MTHFR? It means all folate is blocked, leaving you without methylation for years
Of all the Keto Breads I have tried I have found Hero as the better tasting of the group. Watching many GCM tests on the various breads I have also found it to be better at controlling spikes. It is not my old favorite Daves Killer (non keto) but decent. I do enjoy their hamburger buns and their croissants, however the croissants are outside my price point. One thing that should be noted when testing glucose, fat will blunt the respose and I do not eat bread by itself, but as a delivery mechanism for other foods....hamburgers, grilled cheese etc...but items that contain fat to blunt the response. Today i just returned from my local health store and they had frozen bread on sale buy 1 get 1....so my net price per loaf was 4.50 per loaf. One reason I like Hero is the ingredients, much cleaner compared to my Aldi, Walmart etc brnds If I can not find Hero, I usually opt for Sola
@@johnnyjones2884 great info on all of that and yes, my hubby LOVES daves bread! he had me go back to it for now, but he will eat the other breads, as i send him to work with sammy’s time to time, he eats just about anything, lol. thx for stopping by. :-)

Walmart sells Franz keto bread 5.79. 1 carb per slice. Does mot spike.

We get our Keto bread at Aldi 3.99 in a blue and clear pkg Loven Fresh Keto Friendly Bread white ( our fav) or wheat... 10 carbs 10 fiber=0 net carb ❤we've been eating it for 7 yrs...like it better than carb breads ❤Lord Jesus come quickly ❤

Does anyone know if Hero makes a multi grain or whole wheat product? My only retailer is a 30 min drive to WM where it costs a bit over $5 per loaf. I love sandwiches for quick summer meals on the go. I usually limit consumption to one slice per day.

Nature's Own makes a Keto bread and a whole grain bread with zero added sugar, maybe you should give it a try.

@@ginadonza3549 ok, good info so thanks about that. Most bread, with NO sugar added, is not every tasty. i prefer to just cut the bread if i dont like the flavor of the low carb bread. Hero bread is not bad. not amazing like usual bread, but its “doable” lol.
Eat it with something my god and she basically poked a hole in it
