Yes if you have a retail copy of GTA-V that you want to put on the Jtag hard drive it is pretty much the same. Use the CopyDVD option in Xexmenu or DVD Extract in FSD to copy disc2 to a USB stick or external hard drive. Then put in disc1 copy whats in the content folder on disc1 to the content folder on the hard drive as I do in the tutorial.
Make sure your not running disc2 off the same storage device as disc1. If disc1 and disc2 are both on say... HDD1 for example then you will get that error. The way I have it setup in this video for it to work is that I have disc1 on HDD1 and disc2 on USB0 which is my external device. So make sure your running disc2 off an external device.
Just want to point out just to avoid confusion, If you upgrade your external HDD on a phat to say 2tb like I have done (the one that detaches from the console) you can then have both disc 1 and disc 2 on the same HDD. You just have the content folder where it is in this video and the play disc in a Games folder directory and it plays fine.

Yes that should work. The only important thing on disc one is the content folder. Everything else is just stuff like the loading screen and loading screen music plus the default.xex to launch it and we don't need that because we are doing it manually. But once you have the 545408A7 folder in the content folder on your HDD then you don't need disc1 anymore.

No I add games to FSD in other tutorials. I even say in this video how to do it. Just add disc2 to the game paths in FSD. Settings > Content Settings > Manage Game Paths. I do it in Episode 4.
I dont know why but, when i click on the "default.xex" file. The game opens, but when the pictures start playing, It stops on the first picture and does not go further. What should i do? Please help. I downloaded the same gta 5 files and it has all the same files. But i have only 1 hard drive

Hey there another way Here's how it's done -Copy both of the file in your xbox 360 -Then if you go to your game library they will be 2 of the same game you downloaded -If you try to play the first disc(which is on the left side) it will not be worked -So what your going to do is only play the second disc(which is next to the first disc)then the game will play -BUT DO NOT DELETE THE FIRST DISC FILE(IF ITS DELETED THE GAME WONT WORK) I have tried it,it work👍

Why? There are only 2 types of multi disc games. If COD Ghosts is the same as GTA-V then install in the same way as this tutorial. The other type is when 1 disc contains Single Player/Campaign and the other contains Mutiplayer/Co-Op. With this type you want to install both discs as if they are separate games. When you want to play single player launch the single player disc and when you want to play multiplayer launch the multiplayer disc.

Both disks are properly installed but every time I launch the game, it freezes after about 5 seconds... Other people online said they were having the same problem and solved it by converting the ISO to god format. So that is what i've done

For anyone wondering if you can download GTA 5 through XeX Menu or FreeStyle Dash, yes you can. Go to FSD and press on DVD extract or whatever its called, and put in the install disc. Follow what Modded Warfare does in the video with disc 1. Now go back to FSD and click dvd extract and put in the main disc, wait for it to get done. Now you can play GTA 5 on your Xbox 360 RGH/JTAG.

GTA-V is a very tricky game to burn. Not only is it XGD3 but vital game files get written to the very edge of the disc where as most XGD3 games just have security data at the edge of the disc. I am having problems burning this game for my flashed console also. I got a successful burn of disc1 but not disc2. My solution insert disc1 and when it asks you to insert disc2 insert disc2 and it works but if I try run disc2 from the dashboard then I get disc unreadable.

Basically what I have done and it works for me is copied disc 1 into the content folder like the tutorial says. However, I installed the 2nd disc into my internal xbox hard drive and it works like a charm. No need for an external nor a USB.
Thx for the vid MW. Quick question about what you're using to browse your files. I see you going into and out of the GTA container files like you have a plugin for Windows Explorer. What are you browsing the GTA files with? Also, what extension are the GTA files you're using? I have ISO files and am running into the problem with FAT32 and files over 4GB. How are you formatting your USB stick to recognize files over 4GB while still being recognized in the Xbox? NTFS will not work in Xbox.

Hi mate, I downloaded from xbox360 the file from the jtag section. I used my external HD to put the Disk 1 on the Xbox Hdd. Made the procedure from your video but when I am launching the game from disk 2 it says please add insert disk 2. What is the problem?
You can't. Not unless you have a USB stick with over 8GB storage space. If you do then configure it as a memory unit for the console and use Horizon to put the Content folder from disc1 onto the USB.
I am not sure what I have done wrong. I get it to load up correctly, and everything. A few seconds after the R* logo shows up, and the text appears. My console turns off. Only game that has done this to me, and really the only 2 disc game I have put on my hard drive

bruno costa I think you can just add the game path for disc 2 of FSD... its in settings on FSD dashboard

There's something wrong with your gta 5 contents folder (545408A7) in the contents so just try to reinstall it and delete the folder

I love how I have to download a pirated ISO to even get this game working. The game just freezes on intro if you install the retail disc.. =(
Nope you just install it in the same way as ISO but you rip the discs to the hard drive.

Made the procedure from your video but when I am launching the game from disk 2 it says please add insert disk 2. What is the problem?
after copying the content, do i still need disc 1 or should I delete it?thanks
You can't. Not unless you have a USB stick with over 8GB storage space. If you do then configure it as a memory unit for the console and use Horizon to put the Content folder from disc1 onto the USB.

I am not sure what I have done wrong. I get it to load up correctly, and everything. A few seconds after the R* logo shows up, and the text appears. My console turns off. Only game that has done this to me, and really the only 2 disc game I have put on my hard drive

I have GTA V digital copy on my retail Hard Drive, which i recently put into my RGH'd console. Is there a way to do something for the digital games? Or do i need to get an iso?

how bout forza 3? i had put the content of disc 2 into my usb drive using horizon...when i click the disc 1 locate on my external hdd but when i play the disc 2 content still not install...i dun get it...can u help me...or do i need to install disc 1 into the usb drive and let the content in the external hdd?
tried this with Dragon Age Inquisition and it still says it requires to be installed on xbox hdd but when I install gta5 and dishonored on my external like this they work... so what gives?

I downloaded a torrented version, installed it with a usb and I have disc 1 and 2 renamed to d1-jt-gv and d2-jt-gv, I downloaded update 1.27 but everytime I launch it from disc 2 it still black screens
Instead of doing this can't you just install it by putting in the disks for the first time?
after copying the content folder should I copy the disk 2 on the xbox?
So for any other 2 disk based games, just find that folder and move it to the content folder?

Hi, I already copied the content from disc 1 (it is the only folder that I see on disc 1 ), into the internal hdd . When I run disc 2 from usb hdd it loads but I get stuck on the signing to the server of the game . It is something on the network settings on dashlaunch . Can you please help me? thank you
