You can only use the (2)nd and (3)rd effects of this card’s name each once per turn.
(1) This card’s name becomes “Skull Servant” while in the GY.
(2) If you have “Skull Sevant” and/or “King of the Skull Servants” in your GY: You can send this card from your hand or field to the GY; send cards from the top of your Deck to the GY up to the number of “Skull Servant” and “King of the Skull Servants” in your GY.
(3) You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 “Skull Servant” or “King of the Skull Servants” in your GY; Special Summon it.
I love the subtle difference betwen how Skull servant and king of the skull servants are drawn, with the former being consistendly shown as a goofy cartoon skeleton, while the later is drawn more realisticaly
Gotta make them look different!
I own all prints of skull servant in every possible language, including the japanese starter box ones (it was hard work to find it), it's by far my favorite card in the game, it's so simple, yet so filled with greatness
my dream is to own a thousand copies of it and make a binder solely of skull servants

UPDATE: I found the duelist at 8:08 who actually got 2nd at that event! His name is Mohamed Et-Taheri (Halak) and is a Skull Servant fanatic! He played them pre-2017 by playing 60 card Ties of the Brethren Skullsworn- awesome!
As a 15 year skull servant player(yes I ran a skull servant deck, before king was even released) , I'm so happy to see someone spread some servant love! And remember, King is the best card in the game :p

I recently got into Master Duel after avoiding modern Yugioh for almost ten years. My first day, after building my new Skull Servants deck, I encountered a player in Ranked who also ran Skull Servants and it was a hilariously transcendent experience, as we both felt this deep respect for one another, and immediately after the duel, followed each other. It solidified my willingness to put up with a lot of Newgioh's BS.
My fellow Servants, I look forward to seeing you all again in 2027.
I play Branded Skull Servants after playing SS pure for 5 or 6 years now. I'm proud to call the deck Branded in Wight.

I love Skull Servant, I do wish they had more synergy with the Zombie World cards (Balerdroch, Necroworld Banshee, Glow-up, etc.) In order to combine the turn 1 lockdown of Zombie world with the OTK potential of Wights.
Hopefully they get some major support soon!

I played 60-Card Skull Servant 'til the day Grass got banned. Still legal in Master Duel, but there's nothing like resolving it in paper...

As someone who always preferred the Dragon Beatstick Archetypes when I was younger, I am surprised to find more and more I love using Zombie style Archetypes more. Skulls, Eldlich, and D.D lockdown/stall decks appeal more to me than just who has the biggest monster, though it is fun when I get two Gren Maju De Eiza out with over 5000 ATK each thanks to milling cards like Inferno Tempest :)
They gave us a new wight monster last year named wightsworn. And its a minster that mills.
If we ever get a wight structure deck i have a few things i wanna see that i think they can do.
1 is to remake/retrain the older skull and skeleton monsters to be wight monsters. Theres a large pool of them like bone mouse,temple of skulls,the wandering doomed(a skull servant recolor) even mammoth graveyard and great mammoth of goldfine
2 is i want to see if they can make more spells and traps that support the deck and possibly give it additonal stratatgies... If theyll do something like the zombie structure deck new spell and traps and recur from the graveyard(at the extent of a skull servant. Think thats a fair cost)
And finally i wanna see if theyll remake skull servants fusions amd give the king his own fusion(i made my own version i called emperor of purple skulls) maybe even make some extra deck versions of lady in wight andnthe price and princess
All in all maybe i have too many hopes. But i have a soft spot for normal monsters(why i like the memento monsters) so seeing skull servant get all this support over the years(even if its slow) is pretty fun.

I play SkullTearSworn, using the new Wightlord, a whole bunch of Lightsworns and the remaining Tearlaments. Even in an average hand I can mill at least five and up to thirteen or more cards with Wightlord alone, nevermind the Bujin rank 4 and the Lightsworn synchro I can get just with the Lightsworns. It's not as consistent as just TearSworn but it's hella fun 😅.

Konami doesn’t want this archetype to succeed. Every time the deck can do anything good they nerf it. This goes from being able to consistently make BFD, naturia beast with savage dragon, to now being able to end on chengying, baronne de fleur, and rusty bardiche with tow fog blade. I’m sure they will limit small world or any part of the combo.

can anyone tell me how Tri-wight works with the deck? i mean skull servants are better in the graveyard no?
It can bring back 3 kings. That's the best use I can see for it. Though typically 1 or 2 is enough on the field and there are other, less interactable ways to bring him back other than a spell speed 1 spell card on the field (Mezuki, wightprince, Wightmare, or even kings own effect)
In fact I’d go so far as to say the King of the Skull Servants is the strongest zombie card there is.
