Don’t forget about Harpies! Sure, while Mai’s Harpies weren’t a very consistent idea, they did have powerful cards like Elegant Egoist to as their first support that was actually really powerful. It’s just a shame that cards like Cyber Shield or Cyber Harpie Lady didn’t come to the states sooner. At least not till the GX era, and by then the Deck’s potential was never at its fullest! Still they were one of Yugioh’s First functional Archetypes.
I only played GK in Goat Format. Set Spy -> Gets Noblemand -> Return From Different Dimension + Necrovaley = 5400 damage. Happens almost half the time I play them lol
My mentor's favorite Archetype, he's the reason I loved Yugioh as much as I did because he ran tournaments every week during my teenage years, the most fun I had in my life. He passed away in 2019, and I decided to main Gravekeepers as a way to honor him, they're still my main deck to this day.
I still run gravekeepers to this day, this may not have direct support (which they DESPERATELY need) but you can still get some cards to help you out. I use Solemn Judgement, Dogmaticka Punishment, and Twin Cyclones for starters and most of my duels end in the opponent quitting cause everybody loves playing with the graveyard these days 😂
I got into Yugioh with the idea of playing and learning the archetypes... in order?? So Gravekeeper's were my first stop, and I absolutely adore them! It's a shame they can't live up to the top, but their momentum is so necessary, and they can get shut down. I will say, in the best of 1 Master Duel formats? I do pretty well with Necrovalley! But uh, yeah, they need a lot of things, including a reprint!
I love grave keepers. I want to make a millennium eyes restrict grave keepers deck and I've almost got it working, but i just can't find that one or two cards that bring it together. I'm so close yet so far...
@@JanjoZone so far it's been extremely fun. I use gravekeepers spiritualist to go into millennium eyes restrict and gravekeepers chief to allow illusionist faceless magician to work from gave. The millennium and relinquish side of it is too inconsistent though so i want to swap out chief and faceless magician removing them as a whole for more consistency, i just don't know what cards i would like to use for it though.
Gravekeepers are good against pearly. I had Necrovalley on the field and hidden temples of Necrovalley. They straight up quit. 😂 They couldn’t do anything. It was great 😊
