One of THE best New Wave BM bands by far. Required listening for any fan of the genre. And this is sounding fantastic once again. For anyone who hasn't, I highly recommend their album Unstille...well, really any of them.
Unstille is great, I love their first release tho, everything from them is just perfect.
Is it just me or does German language go amazingly well with Black Metal?
"IN DIE UN-END-LICH-KEIT" works quite well on this one, you ´re right.

Grandioser und bester Track, eines unbeschreiblichen Albums. Atmosphärisch, tief und brutal.
This goes beyond words, exalt all my senses, it really blow my mind, so deep, sad and strong, sensitive to my essence fuck it's a masterpiece,
This is pretty god damn refreshing. Wish I was fluent in German, but still love the sound. \m/

Goddamn man, what a great track. I found out about these guys a year or two ago and I'm so glad I did. Having been a huge metalhead for over 20 years, I haven't listened to many new(ish) or contemporary bands, but DWIF stand out for me and can't wait for this new album.
I think the vocals sound so much better now.

This album reminds me of Faust. Could be the pt. I and II. However, there is a howling and visceral re-awakening feel that is reminiscent of Faust.

Ich liebe DWEF ja... aber aaaaaalter, die Reime hier sind schon teilweise schwer verdaulich.
Musikalisch wiedermal top of the notch, aber ... der Text ist echt ziemlich schwach.
"Doch die Skepsis ist groß - man wird sie nicht los" ... really ?
Naja, die zeile ist zwar echt nich so gut aber insgesamt find ich das textlich ganz gut. vorallem den refrain

Die Reime sind wirklich störend. Da gibt es durchdachtere DWEF-Lyrik
Es ist schon sehr auffällig, wie viel besser die mit abgesetzten Verse und Versteile wirken, solange man nicht bei 'nem Reim ankommt. Der Refrain etwa passt gerade in seiner durchbrochenen Satzstruktur solange wunderbar, bis plötzlich der Reim mit "geboren" dahergestolpert kommt.

Lyrics sind echt cheesy af, zu dem leidet der satzbau merklich unterm Reimzwang - "pseudoantik".
Das wird leider überdeutlich in dem lyricvideo, hätte das lieber nicht gesehen haha
Songwriting/Riffing sind aber Top, richtig gut.
Ein hervorragender Track, kann das neue Album kaum erwarten! Einzige Kritik: Der Text klingt etwas überhetzt heruntergeleiert...mir fehlt ein wenig das schön melodisch getragene. Überlasst das schnelle abgehackte den Deathcorebands, wo die Musik genauso hektisch ist. Ansonsten episch wie eh und je :)

Geile Band und fetter Sound, aber die Lyrics sind echt totaler Schund. "die mich nie hat geboren"? Das klingt wie ne schlecht übersetzte chinsesische Anleitung.
Gråven Guitar sehe ich ähnlich. Solche Stellen sollen wohl poetisch klingen, worken aber eher gezwungen.

Wenn man eins kritisieren kann, dann sicher die ziemlich laschen und langweiligen Reime, aber der von dir genannte Halbsatz ist nun wirklich vollkommen normal.
