      @@A.M.Independent.Consultant I just have the video on how to frame it. You just measure your mirror and then buy the boards you want and cut them to that length. Then watch the video on the part on how to apply them to the mirror. I hope that helps

    Been wanting to do this to my bathroom mirrors. In all the furrow I saw they cut the corners to fit …but I do like the square look you created. I can not afford a bathroom redo so I thought adding a frame would upgrade the look and cover the black spots at bottom of mirror. My mirror is 36 by 36 and I want a white simple frame. What do,I buy and is there anything already painted ?

      Yes you can go to your local home shop like a home depot, Lowes or hardware store, depends on what time of trim look you want there is so many. I would measure the mirror where the stain is that you want covered and that's the size you will need. There are so many you can choose from. The white ones you see at the store are just primed ready for you to paint. You will then then need to buy a small can of white paint and just paint them. If you don't have the tools at home to cut the wood, the home shops can cut it for you, just let them know the size you will need. I hope this helps.

    Love the look of this! What type of wood trim did you get? Width? Where did you get it? Is there any need to prime the wood?

    • @rivachic
      @rivachic  4 года назад

      Thank you. I bought trim at home depot, there is slot to choose from pick the style you like. No you don't have to prime the wood when you paint it. You will have to cut the wood to the size you need.

    Why paint the back thats not seen and glued to the wall.. then with liquid nails on a mirror that will never come off so the mirror would have to be broken to change it... sounds like a waste of time

    • @rivachic
      @rivachic  2 года назад +3

      Not a waste at all. I painted back so the wood does not shadow through mirror, also the mirror is old and instead of breaking it down which was already glued to wall by previous owner of house I saved money on buying a new one and framed the old one. If I had to change it later I can take whole mirror out.

      @@rivachic the things that hold the mirror on the wall

    • @rivachic
      @rivachic  Год назад

      @Becky Griffin are they holding the mirror or do you have gluse behind mirror as well. Because you will have to cut around the wood to go around it or see if you can just cover it with the trim

    • @beckygriffin8173
      @beckygriffin8173 Год назад

      @@rivachic it looks like the wood is over the the clips since the wood is attached to the mirror. Nobody shows how they work. Around them. Also…this makes it PERMANENT on the wall. I usually take the mirror down when I re-paint. Looks like I might need to find an alternate way to hang it.

    • @rivachic
      @rivachic  Год назад

      @@beckygriffin8173 what you could is remove the clips. Add the trim like I did in the front and then add trim in the back so that you can add on both side mirror hangers so you can hang it on the wall. I hope that helps.
