This was a great interview, starting with what is current and not reaching into the past. Also interviewing an artist about their art and not smalltalk was very refreshing.
surprisingly deep and fun interview, just how all interviews should be! you are very knowledgeable and gave the whole conversation a brilliant structure, really enjoyed it!
Hi, I'm Italian and can't wait for the Neubauten Milan gig on the 2nd of October. Blixa is a special man, very intelligent and eloquent. I love him with all of my heart and glad to hear that he grew up with Neu! and Can. Yeah, Neu! are divine, one of the best group in history. I saw Michael Rother this February in London and he's still kicking. Stefano
Really interesting interview! Elvar, you're driving this with so much knowledge and understanding what makes the conversation flow so well. I'm also really happy that Einstürzende Neubauten will tour in Warsaw so I'll be able to see them live. The interview gives so much background to understand the creation process that it makes me even more eager to be there.
It´s BOTH true! I remember reading a book on the Fabs in my teenage days, that had zhe Lennon "boys" quote....whereas "goys" is deninately a quote from Rutle Land----cheers!
Januar 1959 / Heinrich Pestalozzi: * 12. Januar 1746).
You know - I thought from the thumbnail and name of the podcast that this might be a show about random people peeling actual onions and crying. Like a spin on HOT ONES. I was wrong.
What is a European? German, Belgian, Ukrainian, Frenchman, Eritrean or someone else? What is the speech of a European? German, French, Ukrainian, English or Arabic? Just because, after the concert in some German cities they don't exactly applaud EN as expected(simply put), he should relegate his country to third place....Hmmm, and at the same time, EN always seemed so strongly "German" in all aspects to me. Including the "sharp" German that suits their music so well.
@@katjabrod9780 He doesn't mention them by name but he talks around them. I think it's around the 1/3 mark when he's talking about the evolution of German music and how it's presented out into the world
Does anyone know the name of the song that plays in the end of the podcast? Thanks. By the way, great interview. You caught him on a good day, he doesn't usually give long interviews. I don't think he's got the patience for it. Nice one.
Thanks ! Yeah I really caught him on a good day, super happy about how it went down. The song is by me, I uploaded the whole version on youtube on this channel. ruclips.net/video/wMcU3I1wSDo/видео.html Thanks !

I wish they also had some vocalists to do experiments with voice what they do with instruments, sadly Blixa has no skills for that
he said his children are half chinese. just curious how many children does he have? i thought he only had one daughter
