Beast was going through legal lawsuits and trouble with Cube ent. so they left the company, and the remaining members Doojoon, Junhyung, Yoseob, Kikwang, and Dongwoon established their own entertainment company called Around US Entertainment where they created and newly debuted as *HIGHLIGHT* And ex member Hyunseung was in duo group called TROUBLE MAKER with Cube Ent. These boys passed through difficult times just to get to where they are now. I now also consider myself a *LIGHT* I'm not dissing "new" fans or saying older fans are "more" of a fan then the new ones, I'm calling out those who let go, those who left when a year passed of legal struggles, and just left because a year passed and no comeback came, those who hated on Hyunseung for leaving, those who decided to diss the group because they haven't been active artists. When you've had to watch 'beast' go thru so many struggles, It really makes me and so many others happy and thankful that yes although 1 member had left that all five of them are still going so fucking strong, and even stronger then popular groups today! ルシファーLucifer This time Highlight break the record of their last album selling (they already sold 50k copies on 4th/5th day?) and they are doing really well on music charts (90 hours on number one in melon, first boy group in 2017 who got 1st spot since it's been hard because girl group songs usually charted high etc.) Highlight is doing great! As long as they do what they do best and the fans are supporting them I believe they will be more successful than ever!

I decided to be Highlight's fan only. I've listened to Kpop for so long, since old days with Haru haru (Big Bang), Into the new world (SNSD),... to the highest era of Twice, BTS but never once have I thought of becoming any group's fan. But after all the time with new Beast/Highlight, I decide to be their fan, their fan only, no one else anymore. I'm not sure what I can do to support them, but at least, my whole Kpop heart will belong only to my H5, my beloved guys, the greatests in the world, Highlight. To Highlight members who always give your best even though there was a lot of things happened, I will always love and support you!
Ren Ren You won't regret loving them. I SWEAR. I've been a fan for 5 years and no other group has surpassed nor replace them in my heart. These boys, once you give them love and support, they repay you with the same love and support (or even more). I think b2uty became bitter about people dont know about beast is because the fact that beast was poor at promotion unlike the other older groups, like SNSD or BigBang that widely known by either older or newer fans. We're just a lil bit disappointed at how thing is. its not like we're blaming the newer fans but you'll know how it feels if you stan a group that poor at promotion. we thought they're good enough to be recognize but then it's not like what we think. Love your comment. Since I am an international beauty, I accurately don't how they are popular in Korea. I heard so much that their Korean fan base is considered one of TOP 3. I admit they are not trendy and not popular internationally as much as recent groups. But I still think HIGHLIGHT/BEAST is one of the Top Kpop groups.

Well said. They shouldn't be criticized for liking the newer groups as the newer groups ARE very popular right now and their popularity is also spreading very quickly and widely. Compared to these newer groups whose companies are actively promoting them, beast/highlight was going through a tough transition period. Many old fans of beast/highlight also moved on to listen to newer groups (including me) while beast/highlight wasn't active, but now that the boys back, b2uties are also returning and THIS will be the chance for newer kpop fans to listen to this group and be converted as fans. Now that they've settled down and started their own company, they'll have a brighter future ahead and start gaining more fans so there's really no point ridiculing or blaming newer kpop fans for not knowing highlight right now.

they were once called beast(b2st) but since they leaving cube ent(former agency) and stabilize their own company, they have no rights to their "beast" name/songs(tht were produce by the former agency not including the song made and produce by yong junhyung). its been months they changing their group name to HIGHLIGHT which was one of their hit song in previous album. they are sunbae its just they start fresh with new group name.. debuted on 2009 with "bad girl" and one of their hit song is "shock" .

These boys passed through difficult times just to get to where they are now. I'm proud to say I am a *B2UTY* and i continue to be one, and although the group changed I stuck around because I appreciated their music. I now also consider myself a *LIGHT* I'm not dissing "new" fans or saying older fans are "more" of a fan then the new ones, I'm calling out those who let go, those who left when a year passed of legal struggles, and just left because a year passed and no comeback came, those who hated on Hyunseung for leaving, those who decided to diss the group because they haven't been active artists. I'm not saying any person is "more" of a fan, I'm saying I'm a fan that's proud to say i stayed through all the hard law suits, through the company move, through the departure of a member, through the new chapter of beast which is now HIGHLIGHT.

When you've had to watch 'beast' go thru so many struggles, It really makes me and so many others happy and thankful that yes although 1 member had left that all five of them are still going so fucking strong, and even stronger then popular groups today! It goes to show that they still and always will have it. To think that such an amazing group was going to fucking waste because of cube entertainment! Not only are these men...BOYS (still little boys in my heart) an inspiration to so many new and old Kpop listener but will hopefully be an inspiration to so many Kpop and idol groups who are dealing with the same issues that highlight💗 was. I think b2uty became bitter about people dont know about beast is because the fact that beast was poor at promotion unlike the other older groups, like SNSD or BigBang that widely known by either older or newer fans. Guys I think it's rude that you guys are ridiculing the new KPOP fans for going into fandoms like Exo or Bts. It's not their fault that that's what got them into the fandom. Plus kpops history isn't a 123 thing, that requires time and research to get into and understand. I understand that this is Beast and whatever that happened but at the same time it says Highlight so please be considerate that newcomer don't know everything.
Tara Thompson I was actually really surprised by the comment section. This fandom is usually very warm, friendly, and grateful/welcoming of any support or new fans. I'm really O.O when I scrolled to the comments and I'm afraid all the hostility might make the newbies reconsider actually joining this fandom. Really sad especially now that the boys need ALL the support they can have

i dont think you felt what i felt. i felt very hurt tbh when i saw all the comment before asking 'who are they?' 'this is my first time seeing them?' and etc. can they just enjoy the music? what if beast/highlight read the comment? it will hurt both parties. both of highlight n their fans went through hardships before. pls, dont burden us anymore with all the question and showing how ignorant u are. i know. i welcome the new people to know and love them but hv u also found any international kpop page support Highlight like the way they support BTS/GOT7 etc group? i bet its really hard to find. im asking people to not sleep on them and realised about their talent.
ps. this is all cube fault for making the boys went through poor promotions before. i used to love cube but not anymore. im sorry.
Well said. They shouldn't be criticized for liking the newer groups as the newer groups ARE very popular right now and their popularity is also spreading very quickly and widely. Compared to these newer groups whose companies are actively promoting them, beast/highlight was going through a tough transition period.
Many old fans of beast/highlight also moved on to listen to newer groups (including me) while beast/highlight wasn't active, but now that the boys back, b2uties are also returning and THIS will be the chance for newer kpop fans to listen to this group and be converted as fans. Now that they've settled down and started their own company, they'll have a brighter future ahead and start gaining more fans so there's really no point ridiculing or blaming newer kpop fans for not knowing highlight right now.

@@박서준-r9w 엇... 음... 절대 쉴드는 아닙니다만 마지막 의리로 사실만 얘기하고 빠질게욥! 그 단체 채팅방에 용씨는 없었습니다! 그 사건과는 별개로 또다른 동영상을 개인톡으로 ㅈㅈㅇ이 용씨에게 공유했고, 용씨는 그에 관해서 부적절한 대화를 나누었다고 합니다. 근데 유포를 하거나 몰카를 찍었다거나 그런 건 아니라 법적으로 범죄자는 아니라고 해요. 조사도 그냥 참고인 명목으로 갔다 왔고 형사처벌 안 받았습니다. 다만 연예인인 만큼 도의적인 잣대를 들이밀 순 있겠죠. 그래서 스스로 책임감을 느끼고(아 이말 좀 웃기넼) 뭐 멤버들한테 피해주긴 싫다며 하이라이트를 탈퇴한 겁니다:)
