How to make Vocal "Ahs" Lead from Porter Robinson's Hollowheart (FL Studio Tutorial)

Messed around last night and got something pretty similar to the vox sound he uses in the intro of both Hollowheart and OSTTT. It is not 100% accurate, but with some tweaking it can get really close.

The looping of the sample in this tutorial is a little faster than the original. You can adjust the crossfade setting or even take a different sized chunk of the sample from the vocals to get the timing just right. And then adjust whatever sample settings you want to fine tune it to your taste.

i'm pretty sure it's either stretched out to be longer (instead of looped) or it's a soundfont of some sort

It could definitely be tweaked from the final sound of the video to get closer to the original.
I’m pretty sure it’s looped. If you listen closely to the original (or the isolated vocals), you’ll notice it pulses instead of being a single drawn out note. And it pulses faster or slower based on the pitch, which looped samples or soundfonts do when you play higher or lower notes.
I’d be glad to know if someone finds that it is a soundfont though. I spent a couple hours going through every common soundfont collection without finding anything close to this.
