    Congrats sir. You are an inspiration. I recently discovered your videos and Im amazed with all you can do in this inflatable kayak.. that is definitely NOT a pool toy, but serious piece of equipment.

      Thank you for the positive feedback! 😎 Yes, I keep being positively surprised as well, even if every kayak has its limitations. Glad you liked the videos. A full 2 year review and other special content with the Itiwit X500 is coming up in the near future on this channel 😎

    Confuse me first of all and then I realised it was one you held onto. I have to say Patrik this was one of my favourites, great footage with some exserlent and informative information.

      Thank you George, glad to hear it! Yes, I kind of started working on a video from my 100th paddle beginning of year, then got busy with so much other footage and paddling, then took a look again at these reflections now and figured they might do some good - thus the delayed winter video. July weather in Sweden can be bad but not that bad 😁

      Thank you for the positive feedback! This was a really special paddle and felt as such with a bit of joy at the moment of reaching 1,000 km before the end of the year - it was a bit stressful to make the target during the last month. But I also really enjoyed hearing this "ice music", the first time I experienced it at that scale - ruclips.net/video/-JQAz5JoW1g/видео.html

    Amazing video, I really enjoyed. I can relate to everything you said about kayaking, it must be the best ways to get out and explore. Like you said, no 2 kayak trips are the same

    • @AirOnTheWater

      Thank you very much. Absolutely agree! And it's interesting you say that with all the kayaking and location exploring you do - but yes, always something new to see and experience. Part of what makes it so rewarding.

      @@AirOnTheWater Plus on the sea, estuaries, rivers, canals and lakes are all so different. Do you mind me asking what mic you use with your action cam? I have a GoPro 7 but find the built in mic not very good on it (especially when it gets water in it 😂).

    • @AirOnTheWater
      @AirOnTheWater  Год назад +1

      @@TheKayakCrew I agree! Actually this is shot with the GoPro Hero Black 9 and its internal mic - I have invested in some external mic gear but with all the stuff that needs to be brought, I don't tend to use it for the most part. Need to experiment more and be better at that. In this case if I recall correctly I'm using post-processing through the video editor as there's a lot of splash noise from the water and paddle.

    • @TheKayakCrew
      @TheKayakCrew Год назад +1

      @@AirOnTheWater The sound quality is good for the internal mic. Yes, you need adapters and cables to connect external mics to action cameras which is a pain. I seem to always get water in my GoPro mic so it sounds bad.

    • @AirOnTheWater
      @AirOnTheWater  Год назад +1

      @@TheKayakCrew Yep, that's why I haven't been that keen to try it out after all - enough gear to fiddle around with anyway, at least previously during the cold season. It's only really in wind that things get more challenging.
