Can't wait for My Kato to arrived, love your works guys, bring the classic dynamic driver to the next level, i always love single dynamic driver, if any company could make it to the next level I always appreciate that 🙏🏻
Ive been saving for some KXXS's because they consistently seem to be the reccommended IEM of choice for almost everyone. Then you come out with the Kato.... Im SOLD!
I have the Tin T2 plus, Blon BL03 & the KZ ZS10 Pro, falling for the hype train, I've ordered the 7hz Timeless and the KATO....will be arriving in a couple of days, How much of a sound quality jump can I realistically expect from these two compared to the dirt cheap ChiFi's that I already own? I use apple music Lossless on my Sony A105 and a Shanling M3X...
Please update the Starfield, it really is in the weird position right now. Kato graphs look exceptionally good, but I want same sound signature in the Starfield housing. It's just the most beautiful IEM ever in my opinion. Give us the Metal cavity starfield while you're updating it, so no more paint chipping.
Will you be releasing a cheaper version of the KATO (like Aria is to KXXS) without swappable nozzles? :) Wouldn't mind if the design is simpler and if it comes without a cable lol
The Starfield would be the dumbed down version of the KXXS with the Aria an alternate tuning of the Starfield since they both use the same voice coils. At this point I would call the Starfield and Aria the cheaper versions of the KATO, however they were released before the KATO. And actually the KATO is the cheaper version of the Illumination. So I don't think it would be wise to deviate too far from the price point and diminish performance.
@@Assimilator702 From what Moondrop has been doing, I think they are not afraid of "diminishing performance" like how you described. Rather, they are trying to bring the best sound to their respective price brackets while lowering overall costs and increasing performance to price ratio with technical advancements
@@yourforeignlocal If Moondrop can use a similar driver in a lower priced model that's simply a different tuning based on what they learned in the design of the KATO I'm all for it. And if the new versions of Starfield and Aria are better and cost the same that's a win for everyone. I do like the idea of selling a minimal package without cable. I use an aftermarket cable like most in the hobby.
Great to see a group of young people striving for excellence. Well done Moondrop!
4:31 hahaha..as usual moondrop has amazing iem products...

I already have 3 Moondrop IEMs and pre-ordered Kato, waiting for delivery. I can't wait!
Thanks for your support, enjoy it then.
Make a video explaining the development of the SSR please? I think it's your most interesting budget IEM so far (and also my personal favorite IEM
Thanks for advice.
Great video, I liked the Starfield so much so that I stopped using my Shure SE535. Will be ordering the KATO!
Does anyone have any information when Amazon will have the KATO in the US with PRIME Shipping?
KATO The best!

If Kato really is the sister of Illumination I would buy.
Do you all sell Moondrop SSP t-shirts? One of your employees was wearing one in this video, and it looks so nice!!
Hahah, thanks for your watching, we don't sell these T-shirts.
@@moondroplab You’re welcome!
Oh, that’s unfortunate. Still pretty cool, though!
