i fixed a crafter van few years back. it was rusted practically beyond repair. Reasonable quality repair that is. My job was to patch it up so it look good. it was horrible. and it all happened because of the insulation like yours. But that van was a freezer, so probably tons of condensation. Anyway. best of luck!

Warum machst du dir deinen Rücken Kaputt... Räder löst man beim Schrauben von oben nach Unten... nutz die Physik und dein Körpergewicht... nicht dran ziehen. ^^
When are people going to realise what rubbish VWs have become. T4s rust-buckets, T5s engines are crap and they are all overpriced, with spares and repairs ridiculous. As the T1s they always were complete garbage for stupid hippies.
