Great video. Great info bro! Got that motor, but the hobbystar 1730kv.. no problems, but I definitely haven't used it alot. Maybe 10 session. Mainly on 4s. Peace ✌

Nice, thanks, so do you think this would be a good motor in a kraton, stock one still works fine just wondering what the difference would be, thanks again
Hey great video! I have almost the same motor, its a 4092 1520KV, I have only ever run it on 3s lipo. do you know if these were designed to work on 3s, or do these motors function better on a higher lipo battery? motor is great, thou I do notice some cogging from time to time from a standstill. zd racing pirates 3 1/8.
On a lower voltage the motor might have a harder time starting up, but it should run ok. If you have a lower resistance battery or better esc it should not cog as much even on 3s
@@LawrenceTimme thx for the info. one more question. would a 4s 35c battery be any "faster" or better then my 3s 120c battery. i dont have much experience. i know the c value makes a difference but going from 3 to 4s be a bigger difference or will the low c really affect its performancr.
If i got there 1250kv motor and run it on a max 6 would it work good cause I want to use it in my felony so please let me know if the motor is reliable and can maybe run 8s

@@tahayt6142 when you have a motor this big, you need a big Esc to go with it. If you want to run 150a esc get the 4082 or 4076 version 👍 The hobbywing quicrun 150a or arrma blx185 are normally good value on eBay.
@@tahayt6142 no, 150a is not enough for the motor. You can run it with a 150a esc, but to get the full power out of it you really need a bigger esc than 150a. If you run a 4092 with a 150a esc, the esc will probably overheat before the motor reaches its full power. If you run a bigger esc like the max6 you can run the motor at full power and the esc will run much cooler.
