How is t he color accuracy of the Osee compared to the Shinobi? In that regard i am not happy with my Shinobi and i wonder wether i have to get the expensive Small HD. Other people dont care about the color, but i need to see a perfect image of what i am capturing for my workflow. And why did you go with the Cine and not the Indie?
i honestly didn't really pay attention to color on the Osee, and i would have incredibly low expectations of color accuracy on such a low price unit. If color accuracy really matters then spending the extra for a smallHD is the way to go. I went Cine5 over Indie5 because it has double the brightness, and it has the joystick on the side which is way easier to change things with gloves on (i do ski related work in the winter).
@@seisenbach I mean it doesnt matter that much for my clients but its important for me for my own workflow. I guess ill buy the Indie or Cine 5. A 7 inch might be too big for a mirrorless setup like the Panasonic S5
@@Milan-cf1xe a 7" would definitely be overkill and awkward with an s5. the Osee was a focus monitor for me, and also i just wanted something cheap to get through ski season while work was slow. I built my workflows so I'm less worried when using my own cameras about the exact color i'm seeing on camera monitor because i know it'll look great in post. It was fine for ensuring my brightness levels, but i use things like histograms etc to ensure that so not fully relying on the screen itself.
@@BERTolkein I went the gold mount battery route, but I do exclusively power my cine5 from it. Absolutely love it for a clean set up that is easy to use. I have the d-tap plugged into my coreswx battery plate so I don’t even have to touch the cable swapping batteries

Hey Simon have you powered the Cine 5 from a V mount via D-tap?
