LOL,,, 1st of your videos! So Good, I Had to subscribe! Very informative, ,,, Very Helpful info, for sure,,,, Nice Going. I will pass your link on, to all of my Ohio snow-bird fishing friends. ( Erie Walleyes rule ;>).
Later,, after you get very successful, you could have a small-hole-mesh hand net, to help catch all of those falling, jumping crabs!
AND, I wish you a spotlock trolling motor! LOL,,,, (same stuff I'm hoping to buy for my 16' panfishing boat)
Have fun, Play Safe,, & keep 'em coming!
    THANKS & Good Luck.
BTW,,,, earlier today,,, I was watching some John Skinner's most recent sheeps videos,,, & YOU got him beat!!
Another channel, a guy & his wife was using crabs, 2' under a large bobber!? Catching One after another. No worries about wrapping around a post!? Maybe, try that once? I'd love to see you catch 'em that way. (maybe, prove them wrong ? ;>)

Awesome video, Brother. Never even heard of the Mangrove Crab and/or seen videos of other fishermen/Ladies using them to catch multiple fish species. Another first to you 👍

Fast hands! I, too have had good luck with those crabs. You gotta be real quick to catch them. I've been trying catch them on the main trunks of the mangroves.
Thanks for showing how to get then on the roots/branches hanging in the water.

Anytime! Grabbing them off those low exposed roots is definitely the ticket!

Thanks! What have you been using for bait? Are you scraping barnacles to chum the water? That will usually get the bigger ones fired up.

Are those crabs also called mud crabs

Hey Charlie, while the Harris mud crab (rhithropanopeus harrisii) and the mangrove tree crab (aratus pisonii) look similar, they're different species.

I ordered the snapper jig in Chartreuse on Amazon and they sent me the Pearl. I went to do a return, they said to keep the Pearl and they would ship me the Chartreuse. Well, when I received the shipment they were the Pearl again 🙂 Now I'm doing a return/refund of the second shipment of Pearl. Guess I'll try again to order the Chartreuse since I still haven't had any cost out of pocket and have a pack of Pearl to boot. Wish me luck 🙂

Haha oh man that's rough! I'd just use the pearl ones to be honest. Best of luck, Joe!

Haha I had the same thing happen to me a couple times as well. The last time made a mess so I pushed the hinges together the best I could, and it's been solid for at least 6 months. Knock on wood haha
