After years owning Landcruisers and Hilux, I went over to the Dark side and got myself the last model Defender 2016 in ghost Silver and black trim. LOVE IT! Sure toyota are great but there is just so much character and add ons to a defender. It’s the ultimate toy. Glad I went with my heart this time instead of my head. Will start a RUclips channel when she is ready for over landing . Call sign “ Raymond luxury yacht!”
Where can you still buy these kinds of defenders? I just love the design of these older models compared to what is in production right now.

Only Automatic Transmission especially off-road !!
Autos aren't as reliable.
On this particular vehicle though... yeah I agree with you. Its never getting used out in the scrum so it may as well have an auto tranny.
