thanks dude! i couldn't get spark on my 76 KZ 400. i know it was the point but couldn't figure out the condenser and 12vt blue wire placement on the points n base. after your vid i get her fired on start fluid first time in 12yrs of sitting in old shed; thank God i drained the gas and carbs 12yrs ago! Kawasaki lets the good time roll!
Hey so I just got one of these and the was wrecked and I want to know if the engine is good but the wreck messed up a lot of the wiring and I was wondering what is the basic wiring I need to check for spark
Would this fix a problem of sputtering and backfiring at 35mph+? I just picked up a 76 kz400 and this is the first thing the previous owner recommended
This fixed a no-spark issue for me, and really that's what it does, makes sure there is spark. If its sputtering check fuel filters and carbs, then check something like timing. If it is running up to 35 then it is obviously getting spark

What was the kit you used?

I just got one of these and need to install a coil but don’t know where the wires go could u make a video on this
The coil is under the gas tank. One wire comes up from the points area to the coil, it only fits in 1 spot, then the coil outputs to the spark plugs.
Where did you buy the kit

This isn't the correct way of doing it. It needs to be adjusted after installing.
Yes I stated that it will need to be gapped/timed around the 8 minute mark.
