Great video... too bad I couldn't hear the intro. It's always interesting to hear about the different towing techniques used. Trent, it's good to have you back posting more often! Happy Easter!!!
There’s a chain set just for chaining up the axle. Drop a J-hook-like thing under the axle and put the frame hook on the frame and take out the slack and done.
What's up Trent, another great video my friend, always a pleasure watching you work and make some money. It looked like the passenger side top stop tail light was out when you were backing up for the toe. I could be wrong, but wanted to let you know. Stay safe out there my friend and keep the videos coming and always travel safely catch you on the next one.
I get the 20ft chain does the same thing, but why not invest in a set of axle chains? With how often it seems you rear tow. Seems it’d be a bit more efficient for you.
Hey Trent. Nice video quality but the audio side needs some improvement. I watch my videos on my laptop but I use JBL Bluetooth headphones. BTW how many KW' towing units do you have Vs Petes? I have been following Murphy's Diesel in Arizona and they run mostly KW's from Miller. Rick also has 2 M-100's. That is a beast. Both are W-900's from Lynch Trucks.
I've never understood rear towing for anything other than short low speed situations. You're wasting so much fuel. Just put it on a trailer or pull the driveshaft.
Ease of it and quick in and out towing is one reason, another reason is you can't always get to the front and vice versa so you work with what you can get to. If you are worried about fuel economy while towing you aren't billing properly, if you are getting 1 or 100 mpg it shouldn't matter, that's the cost of doing a service and it should be passed on to the one paying for the service so you should only be worrying about what is easiest, quickest, and what is possible with the situation at hand, Better fuel economy is always a nice benefit but should never be a main concern.

Looks like the truck needs a bath.
Really cool video, a very unfortunate thing about those fairings on the tractors.
Sofie is the *best* editor, I love the little pranks.
2:43 lmao, I love Sofie so much. 😂😂
Thanks for the video. Great scenery on the haul.

Awesome video Trent
Have you ever used the sleeper in some of your trucks
Only for naps if we get tired during a long drive, but haven’t really done any overnight trips but when we do we’d stay in a hotel. It’s very rare
Are axle straps preference or is there a situation where chains would be used instead?
cool clip, keep them coming
I could hear... you're going to Freightliner service in Fontucky

12:48 @plazatowing Is this lightbar somehow connected to the tow vehicle - when the brake lights or blinkers are on?
Hey trent where did you get the move over t shirt
Thought you had a lapel external mic????
Daryl hauled me there last year
Can't hear over the diesel running.
Apologies! Hopefully the subtitles helped
If you're wallowing out the holes, you're not straped tight.
Typical Freightshaker LOL
❤
Why didn't you put fuel wasted instead of gas?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍✌️
