Yosuga no Sora is probably the only anime that pushes the boundaries of forbidden love in such way no other anime has ever done before. That makes it stand out in a way because the writer knew his work being different, unexpected to the world but yet he wanted to prove it so it should deserve some respect instead of hatred.
What I like about this anime is that it doesn't go for "shock value" or act like it's covering anything "inappropriate." It's a beautiful story done tastefully & well that just happens to include a lot of ecchi stuff in it. It's not "about" that stuff, which is why I like it so much. The music, animation, and character development are excellent & the over all story evolves & grows & fills out with each successive arc, which draws you into to watching the entire show, instead of just specific routes. I don't know what else you could ask for in any story. And I can never make it through without crying, which is always a bonus!
It's actually adapted fromm the visual novel... In visual novels each character has a route and I liked it this way.. Haven't read the manga tho maybe It's even better
