I had to test out some new gear after work. I’ve added the Firefly ferro rods from Tortoise Gear to both my Victorinox Ranger and Rambler. I test firemaking abilities with two types of tinder: Tortoise Gear’s Helix tinder that fits into the corkscrew of most Swiss Army Knives, plus Black Beard Fire Plugs.
