Just got home from work and had a box from Contour Fishing Clothing Co. with my new cap. Very nice, and a hand written thank you note from the Shelbster! Very cool thanks!✌️
Picked up my first boat today, a little Lund 1600 Fury SS with side imaging. Signed up for Walleye Now more because I love your content and want to support you, but I imagine I'll learn a thing or two.
Love your channel Tom! Keep up the great content! I just picked up my new boat yesterday, Competitor 205 Sport Shadow w/ Yamaha 175 V Max. Glad to hear you’re liking the 175.
Would love to fish a place like that! Don't have access to many different walleye waters. Between the wind and the high muddy water with ripping current, it's tough to get out right now.
What power and action rod are you using? Last week I used my limit creek 7’ ML-fast rod, but it seemed too bulky for the lighter jigs. I’m thinking about the Lews Lite-extra fast
Hi Tom find your videos very educational...I have a question for you my budget doesn't allow for me to have the electronics I would like...if you were to have 2 head units...side imaging and down imaging and sonar and mapping on one unit ...the second unit would you go for 360 or live imaging? Can you explain why you came to your decision please?
Try this method on Nelson Lake and had no luck. Not many boats out either. I'm using a Eagle Claw rod with Shimano reel. What line weight should I use because I choose 4 lb jigging with an 1/8 oz jig and crappie minnow. I looked for rocky structure like around Tanning Point and jigging away and nothing?
hi tom, there is a small lake just south of rice lake called lake mantanis they say walleyes are common .i would love to see you break down this lake and find the walleyes
Tom, I head to Canada next weekend for their walleye opener. I am concerned since the heat wave this weekend is increasing temperatures to 20 degrees higher than normal this weekend but then weather drops next week Thursday to normal temps but I worry the fish will consider a 15-20 degree drop (back to normal range) will be treated like a cold front by the walleye. What do you recommend?
Hi, i want to buy Okuma dead eye custom. Do you recommand Medium x fast action ? Medium heavy ? Which length… 6’ ? I fish in lake. Thanks for your advice
You pretty much need a longer medium light rod and a super smooth braided line to get the distance without flinging off the minnow. A 7'3 or 7'6 with braid is best if you want maximum distance out of an 1/8oz jighead with bait. Fast action rods also seems to help with distance, they just allows the rod to load up a bit more on the cast than an extra-fast does.
Checkout code at TKICNC does not work. Is there another code? Update: OK. I got it. The code is WALLEYENOW23 not WALLEYENOW2023 You might want to fix your link above. Thanks.

Thank you!
Thanks Tom, love catching Walleyes small, smaller, and biggin every once in a while to keep the faith. Lovely calming scenery - can’t beat it.
It is beautiful!

Have you ever fished the peshtigo River system , specifically Caldron Falls?
Thanks Tom! Waiting for Saturday opener in Ely, MN. Going to Eagles Nest chain for several species.
The boat is a dang spaceship with all its electronics 😳
Sitting in class watching Tom catch walleye….helping me get through
Glad I could help!👍
I miss the Flowage. Such beauty all around. Thanks for the video.
Looked like an old fashion video style - enjoyed as always!

Instead of a jig n minnow I like to fish a gulp minnow and fish it the same and I do just as good if not better at times
Get jiggy with it!!
Great stuff Tom!

Thanks again. Flowage fishing is great!! but can be very challenging . Great advise👍
You went by me opening morning between Minnesota bay and banana. It was crazy awesome opener. That motor sounds awesome.
Definitely a fun weekend!
Tom I like that boat. It's set up nice and plenty open to move around.
I love this boat so far!
@@TomBoley have you got a video on your boat set up including electronics?

Greatest walleye stick- Boley 4 Prez
Nice not having boats all around you! Over here in the Minocqua, Wi. area there are boats everywhere! :( O well. That's the opener for ya.
I live just north of Park Falls. I try to avoid Minocqua any weekend that's a holiday. It's crazy how busy it can be.
@@slimbidious I live just north of Minocqua. I guess that's what I get for living in a tourist driven area.
Great episode, old school.

you show the fish, thats great. I would like to see the baits you are using
Tom, I am wondering what batteries your using for your trolling motor? Did you do Lithium or something else? 24V, 36V? Thank You.....
Awesome video as always bro
Thanks for watching!
Always good stuff. I'm in E. WA state so there are no similarities but still... love your presentation
Thanks for watching
What’s the color of the husky bait I couldn’t quite see
dont think it gets more north woods than catching walleye on husky jerks before sunset
Absolutely!
Nice
Don't feel pressured that you have to catch giants every video to please us. i love the content no matter what size you catch!
How do you get these 30'+ pitches out of a 1/8oz jighead ?

People always go to a lake i go to and they limit out but i go out and cant catch one at all and i must be doing something wrong any suggestions
Find 8-14ft of water, troll at .8mph with crankbairs designed to swum close to bottom, occasionally bumping into it. You'll connect.
What's the top speed Tommy, with your new 175 on that bad boy warrior?
50mph
@Tom Boley wow, that's flying, you got to be as proud as a peacock 🦚
Looks like Chippewa flowage
3rd!!!
🎣
👍🏻
small fish....I'd say it's a swing and a miss on the opener
First
Check for weights!
