I just ordered this laptop and opted for the intel variation for the same reason you were suggesting for Adobe users. I read that AMD CPU's struggle to run other programs like Pro Tools so the Intel variation will be better for anyone looking to do audio work on the side also.

If you use Pro Tools go Intel but if you use all program except Pro Tools go AMD.
