I think for this one and especially who Tech is, this was approached like a competition on Tech's end. It feels like a lover letter to Midwest flow. I get the wanting to make it a battle on the same track, like with other songs, but if you look at Tech's other songs where he has to remind people he's that dude, it wouldn't feel like the Eminem show - no pun.
The one thing i didnt you mention is the cadence changes. All parts of song, each song also changes speeeds. Up and down like shifting a car through curves. Keeps the cadence yet speed shifts.

To be honest, Tech has a way of mixing kind of an harmony while chopping, sort of a melodic chop, that Em doesn't really have
He didn’t have it until post 2017. It’s still not up to Tech’s level, but he certainly improved from Speedom, Best Friend and the fast part of Rap God
