Private Airplane Flight | Thonga Beach Lodge - Isimangaliso Wetlands

Thonga Beach Lodge in the Isimangaliso Wetlands, Kwa-Zulu Natal, is remotely situated. By car it is a long trip to make, so, as my husband is a pilot, we did a private fly-in to this luxury lodge.
The airstrip is in the Mazengwenya tree plantation - what an experience that was!! Skimming the tree tops as we came in to land...
We visited the lodge during winter and a cold, rainy weather was forecasted for our trip. Sunbathing was not going to be an option!
We love long walks on the unspoilt beaches and just exploring our surroundings.
Thonga Beach Lodge is part of the Isibindi Africa Lodges Group, and we can highly recommend the lodge!
