I picked one of these up recently because I wanted an inexpensive sport bike and the dealership near me had these priced sub 5k. The bang for the buck is INSANE. I love this thing. If you’re on the fence , just get it. I’m a somewhat advanced rider, but I can see myself hanging onto this for a few years as my only sport bike in the garage for now. I also own a Bonneville t120 and a Speed Twin, but when I want to get a bit … friskier in the twisties… this bike is my go to.
My dealers selling this for less than the 650 I was checking out. Would you say this bike is perfect for someone who wants to do weekend pulls and commuting? (I was initially looking at something with more of a bite to it)
@ honestly , yeah. The power it offers is solid. It handles incredibly well in town since it’s so light , and it’s comfortable enough for longer weekend rides.the technology it comes with standard is also next level.
@@vagabond8460yeah this is plenty for commutes as well as weekend fun! obviously it’s a 450 so it won’t feel uncontrollable but low speed torque is amazing for how light the bike is
Goddamn I want this bike once I pay my car but not many people have good reviews so shoutout to you bro, just subbed. Nice cfmoto btw someone near me has one similar to the aesthetic of yours but yours is by far the cleanest ive seen 👌🏾
18:45 i removed abs as a beginner once i felt comfortable enough. just 1 fuse under the seat, fuse 15? i believe. gotta practice those wheelies! 😅 gr8 vid i agree with all of those points i have the '24 cfmoto 450ss at 1300 miles rn
How different does the bike feel without the abs bro? It’s hard for me to tell how much it’s actually assisting me because i haven’t ridden anything else 😂
@midwestbikerboy to me, it feels better. obviously, you have to know how to brake well. but if you practice, it feels more responsive. try it! you can always put the fuse back in.
The 450ss is great and fun to ride as you are granted continuous usage through all six gears. Brother, once you get new tires like the Michelin road 5 or 6 for the Midwest climate you are to love that bike even more. Next up the 675 🤙
I agree it’s not many shops certified to do maintenance, but i haven’t had a single issue thus far. long as you keep up with basic maintenance i don’t see any major issues occurring

I think most of us who got this bike, are pretty much taking a chance on a new market. Ik they say never be the first to try the first but hey.. it is what it is! Hopefully the future yields a good return
Well, considering that CFmoto makes KTMs engines from 2017 till now, they are pretty reliable since the newer KTMs are much better than the older ones engine-wise. I have also seen 650MTs go above 100.000 kms without any engine issues online. Now, that being said, they are still new to the market, so take what I said with a grain of salt. I am looking to buy a 450sr myself soon so I hope it turns out to be good!
Hello, when you showed the cost did you present those figures correctly off your bill of sale. If you did you got ripped. I am in Indiana in the So. Chicagoland area. I got the first one sold in the state in 2023. My cost was retail $5499.00- Sea freight, $250.00- US ground freight $450.00- dealer prep $250. My out the door price was $7046.48. I paid cash in full. Freight and prep fees on your cost is inflated. This is why I am saying I think you got overcharged. If your charges are correct. You are around 250 miles away from me. So, freight charges should not be that much more.
@@midwestbikerboy I have seen post from other people that got their 450SS cheaper than me also. One thing I left out was at no charge to me was free delivery by the dealer's own truck and driver to my house. That was about a 20-mile round trip in city traffic. I am just saying I got some value for me paying more than I seen others paying in other states.
Editing 🔥
thank you 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thanks for all the transparency, this was a great informative vid. Hoping to pick up one this spring to graduate from my 250 beginner bike.
Glad it was helpful!

you’re probably right man, i had recently moved states before i purchased and i figured my new state was just more expensive to live in

The footage looks overexposed. Do you like that look?
I agree i’ve been attempting to perfect my cam settings
Bro how are you paying almost double the bikes worth? $9200 for a bike that's for $4500. That's crazy man.
cost of bike is $5699 so not double, but still crazy compared to what other dealerships may have charged for fees
@midwestbikerboy Im sorry they did that to you. I would have walked out. They are selling them for about $4700 in CT. Why did they charge you freight?
@@Joshandthekingdomi have no idea, and who knows if i could even ask about it at this point
Almost all bikes have handlebar lock. It's not a feature
