As a Swedish guy living in Australia since 2010, its always hard missing out on your families lives and everything that is happening in their world. they visited me over Christmas , I had not seen them since 2019, just before covid hit. I remember my mums hug at the arrival terminal, it was out of this world . i also remember her hug at the departure terminal,I really didn't grief saying goodbye to them but seeing these people hugging in the video, for some reason just brought it all out.. now I am trying to save go take my 2 year old son and partner over to sweden.. good knows how long it will be until next time 😢

I am an airport transfer driver, so I am in and out of the arrivals lounge with my meeting greet board on a daily basis, I see all sorts of emotions when people come through to meet their loved ones, tears of excitement and joy. People just overwhelmed with excitement over the years, there has been many times where I’ve held my tears back because I’ve seen other people cry with excitement. It’s a beautiful thing watching people greet their loved ones.

As a Swedish guy living in Australia since 2010, its always hard missing out on your families lives and everything that is happening in their world. they visited me over Christmas , I had not seen them since 2019, just before covid hit. I remember my mums hug at the arrival terminal, it was out of this world . i also remember her hug at the departure terminal,I really didn't grief saying goodbye to them but seeing these people hugging in the video, for some reason just brought it all out.. now I am trying to save go take my 2 year old son and partner over to sweden.. good knows how long it will be until next time 😢

I am an airport transfer driver, so I am in and out of the arrivals lounge with my meeting greet board on a daily basis, I see all sorts of emotions when people come through to meet their loved ones, tears of excitement and joy. People just overwhelmed with excitement over the years, there has been many times where I’ve held my tears back because I’ve seen other people cry with excitement. It’s a beautiful thing watching people greet their loved ones.
