That’s really neat I would love to have a beam detector in my garage are there any issues with false alarms for stuff blocking them or does it just give you a trouble I ask because I have a strange friend that eats ranch on his pizza things got a little crazy and he ended up throwing the ranch bottle at the ceiling where it blew up and put ranch everywhere
Lmao thanks for watching. It can tell if it is blocked and it will just give you a trouble. I have mine set to 25% which means 25% of the light needs to not come back for it to go off. But yea it can tell the difference

My high school has had a couple false alarms during dances because the gym has these beam detectors but one time, they were on a boom lift doing something with the ceiling and set it off when they obstructed the sensors.
The messages and tones are downloaded through a proprietary software called VeriFire Tools. If you buy a DVC brand new it won't have any database in it.
