I LOVE Golgari control, and I saw this deck and thought, "Man, if Farewell didn't exist I'd be grinding this deck all day," and then you went ahead and beat a 4xFarewell deck in maybe one of the most epic games of Magic I've ever seen. That was so sick and I am 100000% going to try this deck out.
It's a lot of fun. Made one with my own twist, being a massive black control fan, needed more control elements. But the Wrenn & Chariot plus Shigeki is the star. Golgari graveyard control is just the most fun xD
you can get Shigeki with blood on the snow, return it to hand with its own ability, then channel for blood on the snow for infinte board wipes! GREAT CONTENT
There was a card from Eldrich Moon called Seasons Past. It was a sorcery for 6 (4GG) that let you put choose cards of different mana costs from your grave and put them into your hand. Then you put Seasons Past on the bottom of your library. I saw a pro tour list that used it along with careful wipes, removal and value creatures to endlessly grind. It was amazing. It inspired me to make my first Golgari Cmdr deck (Meren). This deck grinds even harder! Just. Awesome.

Whenever you decide to play Alchemy, there's a card I've tried to find a home for that may be awesome or unnecessary in this deck. Veteran Ghoulcaller - Whenever a card in your graveyard is put into your hand, conjure a duplicate of that card.... Maybe cool? Muchas tortugas?
1:01:55 I like attacking Lolth with Eyetwitch here. They probably block, then you can Blood to kill the Lolth and get back Eyetwitch. They keep a Spider and you keep Shigeki (which can get back Mascot theoretically for the price of milling 3) and have mana for Hive on defense and Shigeki activation. If they don't block you can Blood to wipe creatures anyway. Seems better against removal overall.
My other combo is adding red Arien: When Arien enter the battle return sorcery or instant back to the hand. I always loop her with Blood on snow and if opponent doesn't have removal it pretty much GG.

Nice list. Though I'm not sure I buy playing Mortality Spear over Binding the Old Gods. It can't hit creature lands anyway, which is the main reason you'd want instant speed. 7:15 Protip for anyone trying to make deathtouch + bite spells work in Standard: Master's Rebuke is a new common in Neon Dynasty that is strictly better than Rabid Bite. It's an instant instead of a sorcery, and it can also remove loyalty counters from planeswalkers. And play Kappa Tech-Wrecker - that card is nasty.
One interesting thing that happened to me the other day, was that my opponent activated "Hive of the Eye Tyrants" ability twice before attacking, and then was able to exile two cards from my graveyard. at around 52:00, CGB could have done the same to get rid of both "Rites of Oblivion".
junji blood on the snow blood daemon and drana lol. a feign death with a junji over and over again lol nighthawk fits in nicely lol. i like combos that just get the combo stuff back lol. dig in defend try to burn them out and come back with 2 health and destroy them lol. love it.
I almost never see you punt, but 1:18:20 was a game losing punt. If you target one spirit with -1/-1 and the weaver with -1/-1, you probably can go wide enough to win. Also should've attacked all.
Game 4: Over 30 minutes of epic control deck tug of war from both players. Game 5: Monowhite is confused! It hurt itself in its confusion! Monowhite concedes within 3 minutes.
