Thanks for explaining, wanted to ask one thing like you said ovary is not required for menstruation so from where will the egg come? which awaites for implantation , if not so it destroys and menstruation happen.

Menstruation is dependent on cyclic estrogen and Progesterone only. Ovarian follicles secrets those E and Ps.
