Is it wise to purchase coins at this time? Will the price of bitcoin continue to fall this year despite widespread claims that the market is active? How soon will cryptocurrencies fully recover? To be totally honest, I have no idea how other traders in this market manage to generate gains of more than in a single year.

The fact that the US stock market has been on its longest bull run ever makes the widespread worry and enthusiasm understandable given that we are not used to such unstable markets. Speaking from experience in the crypto world i don't think as a trader it would be easy for you to predict the market currently, only an expert with several years of experience could help you grow your portfolio currently. After the last year crash i had to result to the help of an advisor.

I suggest you offset your crypto portfolio and get into stocks, as bad the bear market can be, provides good buying opportunities in the markets if you’re careful and it can also create volatility giving great short time buy and sell opportunities too. This is not financial advise but get buying, cash isn’t king at all in this time!

The counter party risk for BTC is the network itself. Even if you are exchanging it between individual devices you are still at risk of failure of the electronics in the devices you are using. So there is 3rd party risk present. There is no human 3rd party risk if BTC is held in your own device with your own keys but there is risk of failure of the device itself. So this is not true that there is no 3rd party risk.

    **Michael Saylor’s 10 Observations**
    1. **Focus your energy:** Your energy is limited, and trying to accomplish too many things can leave you feeling overwhelmed and unproductive. Instead, focus on doing one thing well.
    2. **Guard your time:** Protect your time from people and activities that don't contribute to your goals. Being mindful of how you spend your time can help you stay on track.
    3. **Train your mind:** Practice and develop your skills in areas that matter to you, such as music, math, or engineering.
    4. **Train your body:** Take care of your physical health because it's essential for overall well-being. If your body breaks down, it will affect other aspects of your life as well.
    5. **Think for yourself:** Don't let others dictate what you believe or how you live your life. Be critical of the narratives and messages that you encounter and make your own decisions.
    6. **Curate your friends:** Choose the people you surround yourself with carefully. You don't need many friends, but the ones you have should be positive influences in your life.
    7. **Curate your environment:** Create a safe and productive space for yourself, whether it's your home or your workplace. Make sure that your surroundings support your goals and well-being.
    8. **Keep your promises:** When you make a promise, keep it. This will help you build trust and credibility with others.
    9. **Stay cheerful and constructive:** Negativity can drain your energy and distract you from your goals. Stay positive and focus on constructive ways to address challenges and setbacks.
    10. **Upgrade the world:** Use your skills and talents to make the world a better place. Whether it's through your work, your hobbies, or your interactions with others, strive to leave a positive impact on the world around you.

    • @rosstituteuk
      @rosstituteuk Год назад +1

increasing the block size prohibits decentalisation.
if expensive hardware is required to run a node (due to big blocks), then the average Joe won't do it.
less independent people running nodes = less security.
Unlike other altcoins, Bitcoin prioritises security. Without security, your token is worthless. That's why we'll continue to have small blocks in Bitcoin.

@@rosstituteuk Yea I do agree, but I think it's all over blown.. I run a full bitcoin node and also a digibyte node and it uses 15 second blocks with faster and cheaper transactions, it's the longest blockchain 8+ years running and all that is required is an old laptop to run. The size of the blockchain is still under 40GB of memory and only 4gb ram is needed. I don't get it, why not use litecoin and better yet, digibyte? And I must add, both litecoin and digibyte have more decentralized mining operations. Just look at the pie graphs out there.. Security is also digibytes main attractiveness with 5 different mining algorithms, equally distributing the concensus over all 5 🤩

@@NZarboristBryce the size of the blockchain is under 40GB because hardly anybody uses it.
If enough people used it, you would soon see the justification for the parameters that Bitcoin has selected.

I think on my business website I will give a discount to those wishing to pay in Bitcoin, I'm thinking like 10% off of the cash price. If all of us can do what's within our power to promote Bitcoin, the faster we can rid ourselves of a corrupt government currency.

Gold and Silver haven't been used as currency for over a hundred years; digital transactions (credit cards) have replaced paper currency; oil, food, and commodities, in general, determine value. Mobilizing labor is the legitimate use of money to create economic productivity.

Can u do a vid interviewing someone on best (safest) practices for buying and storing crypto on a cold storage wallet like Ledger? The most secure & safest practices? Like, Do u create a new crypto acct for ea transfer? Ledger support sucks (their webside Ledger Academy is just a promo for Ledger).. Once u get a Ledger cold storage wallet, no one gives advice on the best safest practices on how to use it.. & best places to store the seed words & the ledger itself. Can u travel w/ it? Or should it be empty when traveling internationally? Everyone talks abt the importance of Not ur Keys, Not ur Crypto (BTC).. but no one talks abt best safest practices for doing that & safest ways to continue accumulating. Having to learn by trial & error is abominable as a retail investor.

You always seem to have a word I don't know pop out in your podcasts! Strange comment I know, but it's happened now quite a few times so I thought I'd thank you for expanding my vocabulary! 😁😁

I agree with the assessment that some tokens are just like fiat. Michael's first statement encapsulated all of the things one should look for as signs a token is inherently bad or prone to collapse. However, there are some tokens that are, in my estimation, very much like commodities. Commodities have value and supply and demand sets the prices. Bitcoin is definitely money and is perhaps the best money there has ever been. Lesson? Learn about each token, choose only good ones, not meme coins, not cash grabs, and hold your own tokens unless you're actively trading.
