There is also the strategy called 495, put medium pieces on 4, then another medium piece on 9, big on 5. Win at 1 and 6.

There are ways to counter black chess.
One is to place first big white chess to center.
if opponent already knows this trick, you can place a medium chess piece to a corner opposite the side of their chess piece.
It's hard to explain when it is not shown but a lot of times when white wins, it is because you have more pieces on the board than the opponent.

You get a shield that increases your dmg by 10% as long as you don't take a hit that takes more than 30% of your max HP. If shield gone it will be back in 15s, it's quite good
