I grew up in the hat business in Houston. Yep, the high price these so called hat makers are putting a black eye on the hat industry. Highway robbery for sure. Making a living is one thing. Ripping off the public is something else.

Got my best hat from Manny. Waited 6 months before I got a note from him apologizing for the delay but his "partner" had died. Great hat but as luck would have it, my hunting dog thought it tasted good too.

Everyone should have a custom hat for $800-$3,000! Holy cow, these folks are proud of their product.
