Great review! I have this same basic model, but in a smaller scale. Mine is the "Popy Goggle Five Chogokin", model # GB-76. I've had this model since the early 1980's, & was shipped to me by my sister, who lived in Japan during that time. My model has fewer pieces (no "mace" was included with my model), & the Goggle Dump Truck bed covers do not rotate, as your model's bed covers do. But otherwise, the model functions & details are apparently the same between my model & yours, I believe (my model also has spring loaded fists, that fly off from the arm after pressing a button, but I didn't notice if this feature is present on your model).

Yeah the 80's robot toys were so nice for their time! They're still a lot nicer than some of the toys today!
