Wow. I grew up Presbyterian, but I remember reading Housekeeping as a teenager at what I liked to call my peak 'atheist' period, and the silence and underlying grace of this story led me back around to Gilead as a young adult when I was looking for literature of great attention. After about four interviews with Marilynne I have decided to read the bible again starting with the gospels and genesis. And i am so happy to be back with renewed love and patience. Cheers to our poetry!
Very interesting conversation ... Check out Dr. Hugh Ross, Reasons to Believe. He's an astrophysicist who became a minister as well, with a science perspective, when he realized the evidence of God's existence!
This interview was such a blessing, God has become bigger. Thank you.

Thank you for this interview, it was a blessing to me.
Marilynne Robinson is one of my favorite authors too. I am looking forward to reading this book.
